I don't really understand social media
I was busy for a while so did not post much yesterday I posted again on Instagram and simultaneously on threads. It is the same post as Instagram shares the post automatically to Threads if set so and both are from meta. 68 likes vs 801 likes Instagram meager 68 likes:

Yesterday I posted the above and it did abysmally bad: - bad reach - lower than usual engagement One reason for this might be that I forgot to add hashtags, last time I did not add hashtags the post still did well though. Some newer advice about what to do on Instagram recommends no hashtags as Instagram moves away from hashtags. Give it some likes and a nice comment if you can, so it does not drag down my account stats.
A new post give it some likes and comments on Instagram if you can. This time I did not give it an alt text description, so Instagram should generate one which might be better or worse reach wise we will see.
New Instagram post that I personally think looks really good but the low engagement suggests otherwise. If you like it too, please show it some support with a like.
I went for a different aesthetic this time—a bit darker, a bit Jirai Kei (地雷系), without a mask or the usual eye makeup. It doesn't perform well—only 67 likes so far, despite the cute but dark outfit. Not sure why; maybe it's the Japanese caption, or that the stump is hidden under the skirt. If you want to help, you can of course like and follow. The Instagram algorithm is strange, about a week ago I posted an image of a one armed girl, it did well in the initial stats (view to like ratio) but was not shown to many people so initially performed not great. Then all of a sudden it took off to now over 5k likes. Why it initially performed bad and then all of a sudden great, I have no clue. I like the above image a lot, the dress is asymmetric like her body exposing rather than hiding her stump, she wears a cute high heel sandal. It makes her only foot look super cute. Click on it to see it and when your at it give it a like and if you feel like it a nice comment, too.
Imagine how she crutches towards you the echo in the ball room the click of her crutches and her heel, she smiles you smile back.

She is wearing a sexy black suede pump and has a sexy foot. So if you want to see it click, and while you at it please give it a like. Fun fact this got more than 2.5 times the likes on threads than it got on Instagram despite both sites belonging to meta(facebook).
This is my worst performing post on Instagram till now. Despite her actually looking pretty perfect and it performs reasonably well on Threads. She looks super cute with her arm stump doesn't she? How do you think she lost it? Born that way? Motorcycle accident? Bad parkour fall resulting in an open fracture and amputation?
