I’m good, I got a new job a few months ago and I feel a weight has been lifted 🩷 If you want a tip for getting past the application stage - when they “mark” applications it’s very formulaic. They’re literally marking people against the person spec. So when you write your supporting statement, put the essential/desirable criteria as headings then write a few lines with an example under each one (obvs not for stuff like qualifications). But this makes it really easy to mark. In interviews, prepare at least 2 examples for each point in the job spec (you can take flash cards in to remind you). Also prepare an answer to “why do you want this job/why are you the best person”. But mainly they are basing the qs on the job spec and wanting examples. Mostly, go in remembering that they really want to recruit. They genuinely want you to be great and mark you on what you’ve said, they don’t give - points, only + points. Sorry if this is patronising! I just went on recruitment training once and it changed the way I approached applications X

Heeey, I'm not too sure anon! Started off fairly shaky due to some weird and unsettling behaviour from my ex which made me scared to leave the house for a while, but me and my sister have bought a house together and I've just moved in today, so hopefully things are looking up!

I'd like to look for another job next year but ending the year on a fairly positive note😊

Thank you so much! I'm excited and terrified in equal measure😂 haha time off is always the best thing about work isn't it! My job is going well thanks! I'm very much one of the team now and it can be a bit monotonous but I'm still liking it enough and it pays the bills!x
