A Message From Me
Hello everyone!
You’ve probably noticed a severe lack of posts these past several months and even though an explanation isn’t required, I want to give you one.
I started this blog in the height of my love for Fairy Tail. It was inspired by a little game my dad and I used to play where we looked at old pictures of family and friends and would give them silly captions. When I saw an account do something similar with Miraculous Ladybug screenshots, I wanted to jump back into the “game”. And what better way to do that than by using all the awkward screenshots I’d accumulated from watching Fairy Tail.
Now I no longer feel the same love for Fairy Tail. As a writer, I started seeing more and more flaws with the series. I didn’t like where the story was headed, the characters were becoming less and less developed, shipping wars were freaking out of control...
And overall, I couldn’t bring myself to respect Hiro Mashima anymore.
That’s my own personal opinion, and I do not expect anyone else to share it. In fact, I believe I’m in a minority and I’m okay with that. There is NOTHING wrong with loving Fairy Tail, but I simply don’t love it like I used to.
With that being said, all the messages and comments about how much you guys love this blog have brought me so much happiness. My sense of humor is pretty silly (hence the name of the blog, haha) but somehow it seemed to bring a bit of joy into your lives.
I have treasured every reply, every reblog, and every like. It made me feel more positive about myself and now I’m more willing to “loosen up” in my own life.
I’ve made a decision to keep the blog up, but I won’t be posting actively. If I happen to come across a hilarious screencap or someone submits one of their own, I will be happy to post it! However, I’m stepping away from Tumblr as a whole. I have a full-time job that takes up most of my time, and there are other things I’ve neglected for too long.
Thank you all for the kind messages and support. It has meant the world to me! I had so much fun running this blog, and I hope you all will continue to enjoy it!
Stay “silly”, my friends!
