And Kevin would break into a monologue about how lonely he felt, or how much he missed Casey or how upset he was about what had happened, but he had done much of that with Sef in the past couple weeks. Not like he would ever get tired of talking about it, but to actually focus on something else felt a lot better. He could at least sit up straight and smile and actually mean it, and get the same in return without it being something out of sympathy or plain pity. âGreasy food is the way to go. Itâs also the cheapest, so you know, more for less and all that stuff,â he chuckled, not even remembering the last time he brought something green to his mouthâ no, the joint the night before didnât count as greens. âA movie⊠God, I havenât seen many of those either. Iâ I was not allowed to watch anything that was not passed by my parents when I was younger, so I just started⊠not long ago,â he explained, wondering if he was sharing too much information. âToy Story,â Kevin finished with a smile. âI canât get tired of that movie.â
âYes, exactly! Itâs so cheap, itâs so easy and fast, and perfect for those late days, you know? I wish it werenât â maybe I would eat less of it then,â she said and laughed. She wasnât too bad when it came to all the unhealthy stuff, but that was mostly because she had kids. She cared about what they ate, but whenever they were at their dadâs she often gave in to a sudden craving and ordered something, or swung by a fast food place on her way home. âOh, really? So what kind of movies were you allowed to see?â She asked. She liked to make sure Lyndsey and Jessica werenât watching anything violent either, or too grown up, but she didnât really monitor it all too closely. âOh Toy Story! Such a good choice. I love it so much. All of them really.â
