Amycus // Alecto: Firewhiskey
“It was a one time thing-” she spoke non-chalantly, poking at his chest with her finger, not answering about the virginity part. She was well aware her brother was a lot more experienced than she was and she wasn’t sure what she’d been holding out on- she’d just never been nice enough to anyone for them to get close. Her eyes perked at the idea of sleeping with him but she knew she couldn’t say a word- not yet, she couldn’t tell until the time was right if she wanted her plan to be spun the way it should. But she was tired- really fucking tired and her whole body felt sore from the physical activity and resisting, she was bleeding all over his sheets. She sat up just enough to grab ahold of his arm and pulled him back to the bed, pulled him down with a yank and curled her thin body into his like she was a pet seeking comfort, nearly ready to whine. She interwove a leg with his and moved on to her side, her head on his bare chest and her arm swung clean around the top of his body. “Stay with me- please stay” she begged, she was unhinged, she’d burst into tears if he left her now or denied her his bed. “Stay or I’ll go back to him” she murmured as she shut her eyes and drew circles with the tip of her finger on his chest, she was being gentle- she was being a good girl.
“You don’t want me to right? You want to be the only person who gets to touch me, who gets to hold me?” she purred into his skin and kept her eyes closed. And as though she had to seal the deal, as though she had to put the cherry on top of the cake, she whispered the three tiny words that drove each other nuts, the words they were hungry for but nearly ever said to each other and never repeated to anyone else. Growing up the way they did it was a surprise they knew these words at all- mere fragments of them had aligned with each other when spoken out of a parents lips to a child they were merely witnessing. “I love you Amy” she nodded into his side, breathing evenly- swollen everywhere, “Please let me stay with you” she repeated and let her finger drop, let her palm slide on to the top of his fresh cut and rest there. Reminding him.
Amycus sighed as she pulled him back down and he lay there, listening to her voice that seemed to soothe the burning pain from his cuts. "Fine, you can stay" he said, giving into her. He suddenly felt tired as the adrenaline rushed out of him. "but only because you'll go back to him." He detested the idea of her crawling back into his bed, and the thought sent shivers down his spine. Amycus pulled her closer, as if to make sure she really was here with him. She was the only person who loved him, and Amycus craved for her affection more than anything else in the world. He curled his fingers around her hip, his thumb tracing circles in the valley against her hipbone.
"Al," he whispered, squeezing her hips gently. "I love you too." His nose was buried in her soft hair, breathing in her old familiar scent that comforted him. His finger titled up her chin to kiss her forehead softly, a familiar action he had done numerous times. Amycus had a home, the one his father owned, but his true home was where Alecto was. And he was happy with her- happier than he ever had been. His finger stroked her cheek tenderly before reaching out his wand to cast a cleansing spell on the both of them and the bloodied sheets. The rusty scent vanished with the scarlet blood, as if their little violent play had never happened. Stroking Alecto's hair, the corner of his lips tugged upwards into a content smile. "Sleep," he then murmured, voice laced with exhaustion. Amycus closed his eyes, not even bothering to take off his pants.
Quidditch Cornered // Amycus and Emma
Emma feels she’s scarcely in her own house anymore, though every time she enters to find the climate one of heated discussion over the rise of the Dark Lord or anything dealing with death and torture, she remembers just why. To her housemates, Emma’s simply a very uncaring person when it comes to politics. Over the years she’s assured her housemates that her fraternizing with the underlings is simply a show, her way of moving freely without stirring up trouble when she could be learning any and all secrets and weaknesses in those ‘mudbloods’ and halfbloods she mingles with. Though some of her most zealous housemates still eye her with disdain, much of the Slytherin house doesn’t argue with her on the matter any longer. Considering she isn’t the only one who chooses to politely tolerate rather than abuse and torment, there isn’t much they can do about it. The way she sees it, each of them have their own way of dealing with the fact that they share the halls with those less fortunate than themselves.
Entering the common room after her last class, Emma immediately takes note that the common room is fairly calm. A few pockets of students mingle together. However, what draws her attention is the boy sitting by himself in a wing-backed chair near one of the fireplaces. Amycus Carrow. Though the brunette does her best to avoid engaging in conversation with him or his sister—they are one of the few who don’t appreciate her camaraderie with those of ‘dirty blood’—Emma knows that with the first game of the Quidditch season nearly upon her, she needs to get together her team. Amycus has never shown much care for the sport but she’s determined that she’ll finally get his attention. It’s no secret that the Carrow boy is on probation and Emma intends to use that knowledge to her advantage.
Striding over to the blond, Emma lowers herself into a chair just opposite of his. “Amycus,” she begins. “I hope your first weeks back here have been—decent?”
Amycus never liked jigsaw puzzles when he was young. The wizards in the picture of the puzzle moved even when the pieces were apart... It was very disturbing to hold a piece with a hand on it and have it wave at you while the head was on another piece, completely unaware of what it's hand was doing. And Amycus never had liked puzzles and riddles either. Now, he stared at the parchment in front of him with his scribbled words forming a plan. He was trying to figure out the puzzle of a girl named Dorcas Meadowes- the girl his sister wanted to destroy to ashes. Scrunching up the parchment into a ball, Amycus thew it into the fireplace beside him with furrowed brows. So far, his plans haven't been acting along. That Gryffindor girl was too stubborn for her own good and sometimes he just wanted to smack the stubbornness out of her. He knew she was Chaser for the Gryffindor team and maybe he could use that fact to his advantage. Just as he raised his head, Slytherin's Quidditch team captain sat lowered herself into the chair opposite of him.
"Decent?! You know this place is anything but decent. It could be worse though so things have been so far so good." It surprised him to see Emma in the common room, he'd expect her to be out chilling with the Gryffindors, or was it the Ravenclaws now? "It's been quite a while since we last talked if I remember correctly... How have you been, Emma?" he asked, offering her a polite smile that didn't reach his cold, dark eyes. Amycus had certainly not been pleased when he learnt about Emma's mingling with those who weren't purebloods and to this day, Amycus still disproved even Emma said it was to learn the weaknesses of those mudbloods and halfbloods. It disgusted Amycus to know that a Slytherin was wasting their precious time on those who didn't deserve it. But Emma was his housemate and he'll treat her with the respect she deserved. He saw no point harming a Slytherin... unless they gave him the reason to. "I trust everything has been well?"
Same to you, Amy.
Whatever.
Hm. Well, I didn’t care anyways.
Run along now, Amy. I think we’ve been civil long enough.
Till next time then. Stay safe, Dory.
This castle is getting boring.
Did you? This is exciting.
Think you’ll be able to carry through with everything?
I apologised to her about what I did last time, but that freak wouldn't accept my apology. Who does she think she is? I've never apologised to anyone.
She's not going to be easy, Al.
…thank you…? I’m not quite sure what to say to that. Not that I care, but who do people say I am?
That's not my place to say.
This castle is getting boring.
Quiet before the storm and all that.
Guess all my funny games are about to play out.
Al.
I talked to Dorcas.
I never want to, Carrow, so don’t worry. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to; I know I sure don’t. I would counter your statement by saying that I’ve seen a lot and would probably understand, but that would mean I’d care and I honestly don’t. Hm. I have another insult hanging on my tongue but I’ll put it away for now; I’m far too tired to have another argument.
Good. To be honest, you're not that bad after all. I have a feeling you're not who everyone says you are.
I hope, for your sake, you do more than try. A reputation, you say? Nobody’s asking you to maintain said reputation. Nobody asked you to start it either, so I’m not sure what benefit you think is happening here. Frankly, Amy, I don’t give a damn what your foul sister says. She’s a bitch; I don’t care whether you seethe or not, neither my opinion of her nor my nickname for you will change.
I hope you know that this changes nothing. I still hate you.
You don't know me, Meadowes, and you never will. It's a reputation I have to maintain. I'm sure it's something too complicated for your poor brain to comprehend. And for the record, I love my sister. Insult me all you want for now, but don't you dare call her names in front of me.
The feeling is mutual, Dory.
Plenty of people about-
I’m highly suspicious of you, Carrow. So, I won’t accept your apology (because that would mean it’s okay, and bloody fucking hell, it most certainly is not okay), but I’ll let it be water under the bridge. But don’t try any more stupid shit with me.
... I'll try, but I can't promise you anything. I have a reputation to maintain. Also, what would my dear sister say? Can't let her thinking I've gone all soft, can I?

.. That does not mean I will do your work.
Well, he did blow up a cauldron earlier..
Seriously? You think I'd sink so low to ask you to do my work? You wound me, Sev.
Plenty of people about-
Me stalking you? You wish. I would never waste my time stalking the likes of you. A warning is it now?
I’m just so scared. You’re really not making this easy for me, are you? For Merlin’s sake, Meadowes, I’m trying to- I’m trying to apologise to you.
I…excuse me? You’re trying to apologize to me? What the hell kind of drugs are you on? I think I might want a hit.
Trust me, I'm not on drugs. I'm sorry, alright?

I suppose that’s true. How’ve you been? Brewed any interesting potions as of yet?
As of this morning? Amortentia, Alihotsy Draught, Veritaserum Antidote, a large amount of Calming Draughts, and an Oculus Potion.
Not bad, not bad at all. We should dub you our Slytherin's potions master. Who knows, maybe one day you'll be greater than Slughorn himself.

Well, I’m never seen around much even when I’m not brewing, am I Amycus?
I suppose that's true. How've you been? Brewed any interesting potions as of yet?

Aah Severus, so that's why I haven't seen you around.
Plenty of people about-
Could I? Absolutely. But I can’t, really, since you seem to pop up everywhere now. Stalking me, are you? It’s not a favor, rather a warning. Not all that easy to walk around abducting girls when we’re in the open. Dumb? I think not. Around here, we call that being a Gryffindor.
