If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you would have noticed I’ve been spending a bit of time in the studio of late (and by “the studio”, I mean the newly refurbished Hazy Cosmic Jive, home of my dear friend and producer Gareth Hudson). G and I have been working on some fresh new tunes and I have to say, I’m so excited about the direction these new songs are taking. Not long now until I get to share them with you. Watch this space.

Been reading the report on the recent Musicians' Wellbeing Survey by UQ and results are telling. Our work is "high stress, low reward". We work more hours and earn less than the average Aussie. We are independently resilient, but not enough to mitigate things such as job insecurity and career uncertainty. The report recommends better support orgs, better mentoring and better direct funding for individuals. Thoughts?
