“fictionkin(d) - an individual who identifies as a person, creature, or race from fiction on a non-physical level. [10] [12] They may believe they are a specific character or a non-canon character of the same race or world. This identification may be based on spiritual beliefs, psychological beliefs, or something in between. Fictionkin do not choose their identities consciously; for humans who choose nonhuman identities consciously, see copinglink or otherlink.”
From here, with the relevant citations in the quote

“Fictional Introject/Fictive: A headmate who is or is based on a character in a work of fiction. Does not always act exactly as they did in canon.”
From here, which has a lot of other System terms https://median-net.tumblr.com/terms
It’s important to note that fictives can have fictotypes, and thus also be fictionkin! But this does not mean that fictives are the same thing as fictionkin! Fictives are individuals within a plural system! Fictionkin are previous incarnations or selfhoods a person has that originates from a fictional media source!
Some people who are fictionkin believe they are reincarnated, but this is not a global belief for everyone who is fictionkin! Others may believe in the multiverse theory!
And about your third question! While the host and a fictive can have the same kintype, neither of them would be the same person! Nor would they ‘share’ a single fictotype! Fictives are individual people from the host, or others within the same system! It would be the same as two different non-system people having the same fictotype!
I suggest finding a system help blog or system open to discussing the experience of multiplicity if one is questioning whether they are also a system! But please do be careful, you don’t have to share personal trauma / information if you’re not comfortable! I think a blog open to discussing or sharing things is @positively-plural ! Unfortunately I’ve lost my post on system help blogs, and only remember them, sorry!
This other site has a glossary of kin, system, and therian terms! https://fictionkin.com/wiki/glossary/
And while this blog is abandoned, this old confession blog has a great list of system terms, with a clear explanation for some of them! https://systemconfessions-blog.tumblr.com/terms
There’s also a blog collecting various alterhuman terms, which also include system terms, over at @alterhuman-coining-posts
And because someone brought it up in the notes, Synpath! A term unrelated to kinity or systems! This is the coining post and faq by the term’s creator!

ps because I’m participating in this topic I should make it clear I am a singlet! People who are hosts to systems, or are in systems, have a better grasp on their own terminology and experience! Please listen to them!
