I saw some lady on Tiktok call Rhys and Feyre the "mother and father" of the fantasy genre in her explanation of why you can't possible not like them. I'm sorry but what? These girlies make my eye twitch. I'm gonna hold your hand when I say this, but SJM didn't invent fantasy writing, she didn't even invent fantasy romance writing. She has some of the weakest world building I've ever seen in my life.
