May for teachers
Apparently teacher appreciation week means parents in the teachers lounge all week.
How is that showing appreciation? Drop off the baked goods and goooo

My horoscope said there would be drama at work around the 7th
I mean, I work at a school filled with middle aged women.
By the end of spring break
Terrified.
I have to be “highly qualified” in order to hold my position. Like, that’s a real thing in education. I was required to take credits in US history, world history, non-western history, economics, anthropology, sociology, psychology, political science, and geography, not to mention all of my credits in education. But apparently, $250 million in donations and no actual experience in public education makes you highly qualified to be Sect. of Education. Shame on the Senate.

Private school psychologists are making my life hell.
Paying for a diagnosis is not worth it. Diagnosing a student with a cognitive disorder based on one below subtest across multiple assessments is not ethical. Not getting input from the school for a diagnosis of specific learning disability is despicable.
