'you can do some nice things with barriers, like reflect magic, set a trap for someone with them, or just get to really high places with them, but barriers are really fragile and takes up more energy the bigger you make them. If you have a weopan or something to channel your magic through you can do a whole lot of things, to many to count but that's not the point, ain't it? The hardest and most difficult thing to learn is how to make weopans from light, you really have to concentrate on it, and even doing that is hard, not to mention it's really taxing energy wise...
