“Please! Get whatever you want, I’ll pay--” Ana smiled and pulled the menu up between them, effectively (hopefully) cutting off any protest from Nate across from her. “If I’ve learned anything over the years it that you’re impossible to shop for. Consider this your birthday present!”

Warren frowned a bit and clenched the boa closer to his chest again. “I was growing a little attached. Does it not look nice on me?”
“Hmm, actually it looks quite good on you. The color really brings out your eyes.” Ana smiled and pulled one end of the boa to tighten it around his neck.

Warren grinned as he started to drape a sexy shimmery boa around his neck. “Something he doesn’t need. Something like this.” He then spots the wall of sex toys. “Something over there?”
Ana rolled her eyes as she walked over to the wall Warren pointed to with feigned interest. “I’m 93% certain he has some version of these ... but that boa has some merit.”
“What do you get for someone who has everything? I’m running out of ideas.”
There is a powerful aura about Ananda, from her earliest classes with me I saw a talent in her, a willingness to look beyond herself and connect to greater things. Divination is a subject for those with an open mind and an open heart, one mustn’t be afraid of the future or the wider universe, and Ananda has always seemed ready to challenge either. Her path has not always been an easy one, there have been changes in her over the years that couldn’t be foreseen, but her dedication to her strengths shines through and allows her to continuously expand upon her skills. She is dedicated in her own way, her free-will asserts itself in her style of learning, she takes it upon herself to grow in the areas that take her interest and Divination is a subject that needs such tender attention. It takes patience to be talented in such an area, time and energy are required to strengthen one’s mind and become in tune with the greater powers of the universe, to tap into a magic that is lost on many. Ananda has always shown a willingness to learn and a positive attitude to such things, subjects suit her in which she can fully immerse herself in the teachings, finding connections with the world around her and tapping into that to enhance her own abilities. This kind of magic is not always considered the most practical, or the most swift, but those who take the time to learn this way do themselves credit, and prove to be people capable of great growth, great understanding and overcoming great challenges. She has been a breath of fresh air to have in the classroom, it isn’t every day someone takes to my class as Ananda did, someone so open to seeing the future will undoubtedly make the most out of her own.

“Can I use being colorblind as an excuse?“ he joked. He really should have been watching where he was stepping. “I mean your aura is just so colorful and vibrant.” Jeremy noticed the bags and started helping her carry them. “This what you needed help with or something else, either way I’ll help.”
“Do you mind explain how someone can be colorblind and see bright shiny auras?” Ana asked with a smirk and let Jeremy take a few of her bags. “And thank you. I really appreciate it.”

Piper smiled knowingly and replied, “My cousin is like that, too. She’s actually supposed to come visit in a few weeks, after I get settled in…at all, really.” She laughed and shrugged; finding an affordable flat in London hadn’t been as easy as Piper had thought it would be. “Did you try ringing her? If not I can show you where to get decent cell reception…”
“If she forgot, it’s really too late to try to get her to come now. She was traveling from visiting her fiance in France and if she missed her international portkey then it’ll take too long for her to get another to meet me now.” Ana shrugged. “I’m not to cut up about it but now I don’t have anything to do for the rest of the day.”
{Leaky Cauldron}
Piper was sitting in the communal dining area of the Leaky Cauldron, sipping lukewarm tea and nibbling a crumbly lemon scone. It was morning, but not as critically early as the hour Piper usually woke up—she had been awake since then, but she had been dawdling around ever since, trying in vain to kill time. She still had several days to kill before the much-anticipated dinner at Loxley’s family’s home, and Piper had told her mother she’d be staying in London for some time before going home for a visit; she was somewhat worried that if she retreated to the familiar embrace of her family too soon after graduating, she’d wind up stuck there and she’d never leave.
She stood up and stretched, then made her way over to a notice board that was covered in fliers, scanning the various pages for people in the area looking for roommates. A familiar face entering the inn drew her attention, and Piper immediately smiled brightly and waved the person down. “Wow, hi! Are you staying here, too?”
“No, uh, I’m waiting for my cousin. She was supposed to meet me for lunch but she’s running late. Sorta ... honestly, at this point I think it’s safe to say she forgot.”
Under Street
“Oh sorry didn’t see you there mate.” Jeremy was just about to walk into 78 in under street when he accidentally bumped into someone.
Ana laughed and rearranged the bags on her arms as she shook her head at her old housemate. “Rude, Jer, super rude,” she teased. “Are you busy? Or do you think you could give me a hand real quick?”
{Harriet’s Birthday Party}

Nate laughed at her comment, not stopping himself from looking her over again—she said herself she wanted people to look, so why not look? He gratefully took the shot she offered him and, following her lead, tossed it back. He slammed the empty glass down on the table and said, “Well, no point in wasting it. Wanna dance? It’ll distract me from Table Dancer Number One over there.”
“You are my favorite partner,” Ana readily agreed and took Nate’s hand after putting her glass down on the table then started leading him away from his sister’s onlookers and towards a group of people dancing across from the fireplace.
Ella chuckled softly as she strolled around the grounds. After seven years there were so many memories here. “Gosh, I don’t think I could ever let this go. Tell me, what do you think you love most about Hogwarts?” She asked smiling the whole time and spinning in place to really take it all in.
“The magic ... it feels stronger here. It makes sense that the founders would likely build the school over strong ley lines. I’ll miss it.”
Tyler didn’t care about the Quidditch cup, not that they had it and not that they’d had to share it, but the house cup was something else. He was immensely proud that they’d won it, especially while he was Head Boy, it meant more to him than he could put into words. And maybe he’d actually miss it, just that part of it, having an actual place in the grand scheme of things. It was one of the few things he’d miss, otherwise he was ready to leave, the past weekend had only confirmed that for him. The people here made him feel small and he’d had enough of that to last a lifetime. If he was usually avoiding people, he went to the library, but Tyler was delaying that for as long as he could, if he went to the library now it’d only be to return the final books he’d borrowed and he wasn’t quite ready for that. Instead he hid away down by the lake, the grass was tall here and Alice was lurking around in it somewhere, a blanket kept down by stacks of books provided him with a soft place to lie back. Idly, he reached up into the grass above his head and brushed his fingertips through it. “Just a few more days,” He reminded himself.
Ana didn’t want to bother Tyler, but going to Harriet wasn’t going to be helpful at all since she very clearly sided with Nate in their latest argument and the Head Girl had been successfully avoiding her brother for a couple weeks, just before the carnival. The siblings were at least talking now, but Ana didn’t want to push it.
“Hey Tyler-- sorry to bother you-- but do you mind giving me a hand? I can’t find my familiar, Lumi, and I was hoping to get her settled before things got hectic.”
It was hard not to feel that high. Ending the year not only having won half the quidditch and the house cup, sort of a snub to the rest of the houses and Jasper didn’t mind showing off a bit. Like taking a final victory lap around the track. With his quidditch equipment slung over his back, Jasper crossed the way through the courtyard before he’d finally set everything down. If he’d just listened and had this stuff cleaned up after the last game he wouldn’t be cursing himself at the moment. But Jasper took a moment to look around at his surroundings. Next year would be his last in this place, a lot of things had changed. He’d changed a bit too. Considering what he was about to head into, he’d say that was accurate. With his arms folded against his chest, Jasper smiled, watching as another came to join him not too far off. “Glad to see I’m not the only one procrastinating.”
“Oh no babe, not me, but Nate is. He wanted me to check his locker real quick to make sure he didn’t leave any of his quidditch gear in the lockers. You didn’t see any of his things, did you?” Ana smirked, leaning against the stands.

Nate laughed; there was a reason he adored Ana and naturally gravitated to her, especially when he couldn’t be with Harriet—she was really exceptionally good at taking his mind off of things that were bugging him. She always managed to produce the perfect distraction. “No, definitely not…just saying, in a dress like that, I’m sure there’s more than one guy here who wouldn’t mind you stroking something else…” Nate raised his brows at her suggestively.
Ana smirked and once she stopped spinning, she reached for two more drinks. One for Nate and one for herself. “Really? Then it’s doing exactly what I wanted this dress to do.” She winked and downed the shot.
