My Late Grandfather, Thakorbhai Khandubhai Desai (1918-2006). He would have been 100 years old today. Today we celebrate his legacy and the opportunities he provided for our family. He understood what America offered and always encouraged all of his kids and grandkids to explore the world. Progressive, inclusive and a natural born leader. His advice and steady hand are still felt today. The picture above is a “Selfie”, taken in 1950 in Germany on an Ikoflex camera. As General Manager of his textile mill, he was in the midst of a European and American manufacturing process learning tour sponsored by his company.
