It is very noticeable that the general disatisfaction has been shared outspokenly by the khatib in eid speech. Perhaps, accurately reflecting what the public feels.

The grassroot has become hopeless, topped with worsening latest macro indicators that added to the pessimism.

When this sentiment has been spoken in the prayer, hoping the worst for the so called out-of-touch policy makers, will the sun rises and the sky become clear in the near future?

I rest myself low in humble surrender beneath the boundless greatness of the Creator, and to Him I entrust all that I am.

Maybe letting it pass through a night of sleep will help.

As I walked down the corridor to my room, lost in thought and surrounded by silence of the late night, a sudden realization struck me: isn’t it strange how all of one’s thoughts and ambitions are nothing more than imagination trapped inside a body? With no one to share them with, they slowly become nothing.

I think it is a valid reasone to ask one's self, on what ground you feel that you have the right to say that you are doing things for people....

The sea does not reward bravery.

It rewards preparation.

It rewards honesty.

It rewards the willingness to say I don't know, and then go find out.
