Emma LindstrĂśm - Cosmic CompositionsÂ
26-year-old painter Emma LindstrĂśm creates colorful swirls of awesomeness using a combination of acrylic and spraypaint. Though the artist is from Sweden, her work feels as though it came from an entirely different galaxy. Her paintings are nothing short of celestial â though the colors change piece to piece, she maintains the same galactic visuals that transcends our Earthly imaginations.
When it all comes down to it, my main goal is obviously to evoke some kind of emotion. Hopefully you can find something in my work that speaks to your inner self and the light that resides thereâŚno matter what emotion you might get, the important thing is just that you are feeling something. Â
For more of LindstrĂśmâs work, follow her on Instagram and visit her official website.

The funny thing is, I let you make me feel bad about myself. Then I realize, who the hell are you? You canât put me down. I am ME. And that is ENOUGH. I am ENOUGH.Â
Antisemites are quick to spread the idea that Jews are incredibly wealthy people who have a great deal of social capital and wield a lot of control, and itâs darkly humorous to me at this point.
Being Jewish, for quite a lot of Jewish history, meant that you would live in poverty and oppression. You might get lucky and take a job that paid well but the gentiles wouldnât take, circumstance might just be on your side, but for the most part, your opportunities would be severely limited.
Even today, Jewish poverty is a very real problem. In New York City alone, over 500,000 Jews live near or below the poverty line. Many of these Jews are Shoah/Holocaust survivors, and quite a few are fairly recent immigrants, frequently from Russia or the former Soviet Union. Poverty is also common within the Hasidic community. [x]
âJewishâ and âliving in povertyâ are not and have never been oxymorons. The truth is that Jews are not endowed with some sort of psychic force that draws material wealth to them, and in many cases, Jews are more likely to be poor than the general populace.
Mayim Bialik discusses the importance of modesty with FOX411.
Bialik, who is Jewish, recalled a recent trip to Israel that caused quite a stir on social media.
âIâve gotten a lot of negative attention for visiting Israel,â she told FOX411. She was visiting a friend in the Israel Defense Forces. âThatâs whatâs amazingâŚsimply by going to Israel this summer and saying nothing more than, âIâve gone to Israel,â I got the same amount of hatred and threats and anti-Semitism for actually making a statement trying to support people whether I like it or not are serving in an army.â
She continued, âThat reveals the truth. It really doesnât matter what I support or believe the fact that Iâm Jewish and go there is enough â that should be alarming to most people.â
I just read an article about the Miss Universe beauty pageant, concerning the outrage and controversy caused by Miss Lebanon merely being in a photo with Miss Israel. You can read the article here:Â http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-30899516. And it made me think, how is this OK? How is it OK for an Israeli â or merely to have an Israel stamp on your passport â to be banned or restricted from entering countries?
