I don't know why I hardly ever did something like this, I mean, a bunch of doodles on one sheet, I usually do like new sketch on a new file. Nevermind. I just wanted to do few sketches. I thought it will be a mix, but in fact most of them are characters of Discworld books series, only two of these drawings are not – my novel's main character, Lusien's portrait, and chibi doodles of original Chara and one from my AU.
I read Monstrous Regiment, like, at the beginning of the previous month. And of course I really loved this book, it is one of my favorites now. I'm not going to lie, my view of Maladict's design was kinda inspired by @potato-lord-but-not's, mostly his hairstyle. I even have a hadcanon that, I think, Maladict really could do something like that with his hair, but not before book's beginning, and, I don't quiet remember, I guess in the middle of it, when he began to loose control of himself because without coffee. Also, I was so mad at the final, because OF COURSE our beloved translators could not just translate the text as Sir Pratchett wrote it, noooo, the probably HAD to call Jackrum "she" and add that Maladict was in "full woman uniform". I know that it's not only Ukrainian version problem, but it just pisses me of.
Also I read Hogfather. And well, it was pretty interesting, I really loved Susan's storyline, especially how her attitude towards Death changed, like in Soul Music she was kinda upset that parents lied her, and couldn't understand why they didn't want her to know her grandpa, and in Hogfather she's already like "oh, okay, now I get it"
Sketch with lil Ysabell and Death was made lastly, but it's my favorite one from this list x3
I don't know what just happened to me, but recently I tried to add one of my characters smile lines, or how that thing called, I don't know, but now I can't help but draw them for others too. Like, I definitely have to draw something like smile lines, or dimples, or Cupid's arch, or else, because now I I can't accept the faces I draw without this, I just don't believe in them until I add something like this. Help me 😭

My god, I still can't believe that I really finished this attack! It took me almost a month to make it. It was actually supposed to be an animation meme, but I got a bit burned out, sooo, sorry.

I'm a big fan of Undertale, like, I'm in fandom I think since 2016-2017 I guess, so OF COURSE I had attempt to create my own AU [who didn't?]. And I still love Chara's version from there – Meripen. Recently I wanted to redesign it again, first in Gacha Life 2, then with a drawing. I love my babygirl so much 🫶
Well, I'll just pin her backstory from my art fight account. Maybe somebody would like it, I don't know? Maybe I'll find a co-author for this AU?? Nah, just kidding. Or not. Or yes. Or I don't know
I have a backstory for her. Meripen was born in a dysfunctional family from a religious community. Her mother was a kind but invertebrate, father was domestic tyrant. The interesting moment here is that Meripen was and does mad not only at her father, but her mother too. The only family member who she really loved and cared about was her little sister, who is six years younger than Meripen. They run away when Meripen was about seven years old – as it already been told, their father was mentally ill, and during one of his fit of rage he killed his wife. Meripen seen it in the door gap, she knew that she and her sister were next, so she didn't wait until father finish with their mother – she took her sister and ran out the back door just in time to gain some time and distance. The only place she could escape to was Mount Abbot because it was considered a cursed place - people believed, that the monsters were still living under it. Another difference from the canon is that Meripen, unlike Chara in the original, did not fall through the hole - she went through the barrier from the other end of the dungeon, just seeking shelter from a thunderstorm in a cave.
I still don't really know what to do with Asriel's character in this AU, but Dreemurs, despite the fact they themselves wasn't really perfect family, accepted little humans. As I've already said, this AU is very unstable in the underground, because of the huge magic concentrated in one place. So, when a human's soul appears here, it makes timeline even more bugged – it brokes a little everytime when a human is dying. Monsters in fact weren't happy about royal family's decision: the Great War wasn't really long ago, the trauma of human's betrayal was still fresh, so monsters were outraged by the fact that king spared two human kids. And this is the point where everything started to go messed up: The monsters didn't just leave it like that, of course they made attempts to eliminate the enemy's children, and after each successful attempt the timeline restarted: The determination of a red soul was enough to turn back time, that's how little Meripen was, but not her sister, she was a sick and weak child, and so was her soul. The end of her sister's line was a rebellion – this was the timeline where the sisters managed to live the longest, but the people never accepted them. By that point, Meripen had already experienced enough resets to learn to manage it herself, but this time something went wrong - previously the reset would set the time back no more than a month, but this time it was different. Perhaps the error was caused by so many resets before this, but the timeline broke: she was taken back not a week, not a month, but to the very beginning. To be exact, a week after she became part of a new family, but without her sister. She just didn't exist in this new world. Also there were more differences than usually: the main was that now monsters weren't against the new member of the royal family. Some of characters she used to know before were dead till the moment she appeared in the underground, some of them just disappeared like her sister did, there were some who never existed before but appeared now.
Well, what was next I haven't figured it out yet and I don't see a real reason to repeat here what was written on her reference sheet

He/They, it doesn't really matter for him so I think he's a demiboy. But this man is from 80s-90s, Maine, so of course he didn't really heard anything about that
I really love theme of serial killers with their own Moral Code, I just find it more interesting for fiction than just a maniac. So, of course, I couldn't not make one. His main theme song, I think, is "Piggy Pie" by ICP
Furthermore, Mime has their own philosophy. By his opinion, in our world there are three main castes: the lambs, the swines and the wolves. In short: weak victims, not pure, just mostly safe, who doesn't really able to seriously harm another human, gluttonous scavengers, who harm others just because they can't and want to, and the haunters who gets their hands dirty to eliminate pigs so sheep can keep their clear.
I mean, I invented a whole small Owl Lakes city for this story and an ancient creature called "the Mother", who was considered a good protector in Native American times, but with the beginning of the colonization of Piscataquis County, it became angry and now all over Maine, children are disappearing for who knows what century. Yes, this sign on Mime's shoulder is a Mother's sign. I won't even deny it, when I was creating Mother I was greatly inspired by the image of Slenderman, I mean Marble Hornets, original pasta and whole creepypasta fandom is my god damn childhood, it's my life! But at the same time Mother very different from it.
I don't know, maybe I'll tell more about her another time. Now I just wanted to show you my favorite baby boy. Also, did I mention that he's a real gentleman? OH GIRLS, I wish you could see how he gives a woman his hand to help her get up, or after cleaning up the staff of the local brothel, all except the prostitutes, he kneels in front of one of them to help take off those damn uncomfortable six-inch heels🫢

Yeah, I got attacked, still can't really believe that it actually happened. love-3-crimes, if you're reading it, thank you again! Soo, of course, I couldn't not make a defence! I picked Óscar and Micah Ardeña, because, I don't know, I just love siblings characters, and their designs were pretty sweet, and I loved their story, so, yeah.
I really rarely draw something in traditional way, but I figured out I got attacked when I was at walk, and I knew that I won't be home till deep evening, and I had my sketchbook with me, so I decided to do it like that. Actually, I love the result. I've been wanting to redraw this photo with someone for a long time, so it was kinda fun and chill. It was one of my fastest drawings, it took me about a half day to make

What is this? It's my first attack for Art Fight 2026! >:D
Actually, this is my first year on this event. I didn't even though that it would be so fun. I have so much ideas for that, but for my first attack of course I choose to take someone's discworld oc, so my first victim is Hex Miku from Astral_Chronicle [on art fight website]. I don't know. It is kinda obvious concept I guess, but right when I saw this character I was like "damnit, I HAVE to draw it". I'm not quite sure if I drew her completely right, the reference wasn't really clear, but I hope that at least they'll, and you, gonna like my interpretation👀
I got this idea almost as soon as I saw the character. I think it's because Hex itself associates for me with those cover for "thing". Not going to lie, I think that I am steel new in discworld fandom, I've read only five books and Hex appeared only in one of those – in Hogfather [I'm not British or American so I can only hope that I'm writing all these names right😭], but it was enough for me to get a bit… terrified. I just couldn't get rid of thought that it's so similar to what's going on now with AI. Especially I loved the moment when Ridcully asked if that thing doesn't really think, just pretending [or something like that, I can't remember directly] and Ponder confirmed, but in reality he himself was unsure of his words. That was so good.
Also, now I don't really know which book should I read next: I doubt now between "The Colour of Magic", "Equal Rights" and "The Truth", but I'm leaning more towards the second one, I really want to see witches.

Yaaaay, finally showing you my sketches of my favourite, wonderful, absolut diva – Princess Kelly!
For real,i fall in love with her character from the first page as it appeared in the book. I just looked at her [well, I mean, read]: proud, strong, GINGER [I love red hair so much help], and I've been like "wow, what a woman". That feeling was with me during the whole book, especially at the end. And I've been so sad when I found out that I will never ever see her again in other books. "Soul Music" gave me a tiny hope, cause I heard that she appeared there. And then I'm reading "Soul Music", getting to the part about concert in Sto Lat, just to understand that whole her screen time in this novel is that she was mentioned in one sentence. Oh well
Anyway. I love the way how I drawn her. I don't know, what just happened in this fandom, why everyone ignoring this queen, but for real, I didn't found much fanart of her. And it's kinda weird for me, because, usually, people love characters like her. Like, confident, a bit [ok, a lot] bitchy, but smart enough, knows how to command men and does so constantly. So, if nobody does it, I'll do it. Hope you're enjoying too.
