The seven rules succeed in physics (my favorite subject).
Rule #1- Always go to the lecture I know this may sound obvious to some, but actually paying attention to the lecture can really affect your grades in better. The professor might say things that aren’t in the textbook and that you need to know for your exam.
Rule #2- Skim the textbook right before class Research has shown that students who read the textbook right before class have an easier time remembering things afterwards, as they recognize that information and go through it twice.
Rule #3- Take notes while reading Taking notes has proven to improve your memory and people who take notes are more able to recall that certain topic. Tip. Don’t concentrate in making your notes look all pretty, but concentrate on the details, you can spend time making them nice and neat after the lecture.
Rule #4- Do example problems I cannot empathize this enough, I know they might be boring, however taking example problems can really test your brain and understand the topic.
Rule #5- Don’t procrastinate I know you really don’t feel motivated right now, but to have motivation you need to create it. After reading this get off tumblr and go and do something! Procrastination is the thief of time, never do tomorrow what you can do today.
Rule #6- Study in pairs I know this may sound odd, but research shows that, for certain subjects, there is an certain number of people in the “ideal study group”, for physics this number is 2 people.
Rule #7- Study for exams the right way Study in the way that works best for you, if that’s highlighting the textbook then go for it! If it’s, like me, re-writing the lessons in your own words then learning that then do it!
here are some AS biology notes I made yesterday on eukaryotic cell structure. i finished off the diagrams today and i think my notes look so cute!
trying to fit an hour of AS in as well as all of my A2 work is quite hard due to too little hours in the day; but i’m slowly getting there!
I believe in free education, one that’s available to everyone; no matter their race, gender, age, wealth, etc… This masterpost was created for every knowledge hungry individual out there. I hope it will serve you well. Enjoy!

IF THERE’S A WILL THERE’S A WAY!!
It’s 2016. You need motivation? No, what you need is discipline. IT’S TIME TO FOCUS. Force yourself to do things. Force yourself to get up early, make your bed, go get ready, and go. Force yourself to make plans for the day, and follow through with all those plans. Force yourself to get to class early so you can look over the material. Force yourself to pay attention in class and turn off your phone or at least put it on silent. Stop texting your friends and going on Instagram in class. You are wasting your time, so why even bother going to class if your are going to be distracted? Be selfish. Stop giving your time to people that do not matter. YOUR TIME IS SO SO PRECIOUS. STOP WASTING IT! This is the most important thing that you can do right now, take care of you and your education. Stop being distracted by the world and it’s never ending problems. This is the time that you need to put toward yourself because you are the greatest investment of your life. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. EVERYDAY is a chance to wake up and give your 150%. EXHAUST yourself. That is the only way to give your all. At the end of the day, you should be exhausted from working so much, from reading so much, from exercising so much. Don’t go home because you are tired. Do whatever you need to get done and don’t come home until it’s all done. Stay late at the library. You feel tired? Good. That is how you know you are giving it your best. Go to the gym, and give your work out your all. When you go home, you should feel like you are drained. You should feel like you have nothing left to give because you gave it your all. Because then, you can be proud of yourself and everything you have achieved. Giving it your all is what matters. Give your all every single day. Discipline your mind and your body and you will become successful. You fall back one day? That is O.K., try the next day. You are human, so accept your mistakes. However, love yourself enough to know that you will never giving. THIS IS IT. THIS IS YOUR LIFE. Right now, no matter what circumstances we are all in, is what matters. Take advantage of today. Write down your dreams and force yourself to work toward them, one day at a time. IT’S TIME TO FOCUS. THIS is your year. This is your life. One day at a time baby. One day at a time. Go ahead and don’t stop.

Thanks for reading I am looking for new followers and if you follow me i will follow back!!! anastasia180 or totallyrandomstuffbyme thank you very much
Started my bullet journal today; let’s see how this goes. I’m really excited about it and can seriously already feel myself being more motivated to complete tasks simply so that I can fill in the box.
Also, I want to make more of an effort to make #studyblr posts. I fell in love with the community over these past couple of weeks and want to participate. (:
When you get this, respond with five things that make you happy. Then send to the last ten people in your notifications (anon or not) :)
My best friend, parties, ice-cream, the smell of sun cream, the snell of the sea first thing in the morning, sunny days, rainy nights, holidays, seeing my long lost friends, fresh nail paint
Hi, everyone!! I’ve had a studyblr for about a week now and have already met so many kind, supportive people. I couldn’t be more thankful. That said, I really wanted to give back to such an amazing community! So here’s my first printable for you!
It includes:
a 5AM-10PM schedule (for my early hustlers)
‘Top 3 Priorities’ + ‘Can Wait’ categories
a ‘To-Do’ list
Daily Goals, Notes, Doodles
a water tracker (stay hydrated, friends!)
10 Good Things (reflect back on your day and jot down the little things that made you happy even if your day wasn’t the greatest)
They’re available for download in PDF and PNG formats + in pink, blue, yellow, and white! I’ve also made a grid and grid-less version!
Grid
Blue: pdf / png Pink: pdf / png White: pdf / png Yellow: pdf / png
No Grid
Blue: pdf / png Pink: pdf / png White: pdf / png Yellow: pdf / png
And here’s a link to the entire folder on my DropBox!
Please tag me with #arystudies or mention me if you use these!! I’d love to see them in action. :’) I’m also really curious to see what you all think of them, so please let me know!!
Happy studying!
When I started this blog a year ago, I never thought I’d have nearly 14k followers a year on!! I’ve put together this post on my one year anniversary to help new studyblrs get to grips with the basics of studyblr, begin studying more effectively and get started with sharing original content.
Who do I follow????

Making friends is always good so send your fav studyblrs a polite ask to introduce yourself - If a studyblr replies to you publicly, you’ll get a promo to all their followers. Don’t just bluntly ask them to check out your blog, remember to include a genuine question to make it worthwhile for them to answer you!

study tips masterpost
masterpost of studyblr masterposts
How do I post original content??
reblog don’t repost!! This is an obvious one but if you’re new to tumblr altogether you need to know that it’s never ok to steal someone else’s content. Also don’t reblog from weheartit because all the stuff on that website it stolen!!
the most common posts on studyblr are photos of notes - it’s a good idea to make sure the colours in your photo are aesthetically pleasing, and that you have a good source of light. Natural light is best but lamplight will work as well. If your photos need more light, increase the exposure on your camera/phone. People don’t need to see the whole of your notes, try taking photos of them from different angles to show off the bits you’re most proud of! more tips in this post
share some motivational quotes - I use picmonkey to design quotes
make a masterpost of your favourite resources
make a study playlist on 8tracks and share it on your blog
tagging is the most useful thing ever - tag your posts with #studyblr and #studyspo so that other people in the community can find you! More tags = more ways for people to find you, so make sure to add plenty of tags to everything you upload. If you tag a studyblr in your post, it’s likely they’ll reblog it.
open your ask box - it’s a great way to get suggestions for new posts, and its always lovely to hear from other studyblrs in the community
Welcome to the studyblr community, good luck with your studies!

Hey everyone!! For my first masterpost, I decided to make one for science resources since I’ll need it for future exams and organizing these things will help me and I hope it’ll help you guys too! I included some social sciences as well as sources that have information about other subjects as well, which are marked by the * symbol. Also, I didn’t list many sources for biology/chemistry/physics categories since there’s more info about them in the “websites” category. Weird organization, I know, but I hope you like it!
