Gale tilted his head, almost catlike, his eyes glued to John’s dick — thick and heavy, straining hard against the thin fabric, already pushing up and to the side. Slow, deliberate, he tugged the waistband down and peeked inside John’s briefs, biting his lip like he wanted to taste. It was so unlike him — John had never seen him this curious about anything so filthy, the kind of thing Gale usually thought of as shameful.

But John knew about Gale’s father, knew what kind of poison he grew up around. And that made it all the sweeter — watching his boyfriend finally give in, letting himself want this. The thought made John chuckle, low and pleased. Gale, annoyed, snapped the waistband back hard, making it slap against his skin. John sucked in a sharp “fuck.”

“You mean little shit…” John grinned wide, showing every tooth. “Cocky bastard,” Gale shot back, though his hand betrayed him, sliding down to press right against John’s dick through the fabric — harder, needier than he meant to. John hissed through his teeth, rough and sharp. “God, Bucky…” Gale’s voice broke. His eyes stayed locked on the thick outline as he rubbed, feeling every inch straining under the cotton.

He loved it. He could deny it to the world, but not to himself.

“So fucking hard already. When did that even happen?”

“Probably the second I stripped your briefs off,” John growled, smirking.

All I can think about is John dying at 45 in 1961 and then Gale living a long life without him, for far longer than he ever knew John, and then getting to Heaven after he passes and seeing John for the first time in almost 50 years and he looks just like he did when they first met in flight school and the first thing out of John’s mouth is “Hi, doll” and Gale loses it
