I made the Slay the Spire 2 yummy cookie relics! Or, at least, there was an attempt.

I am not actually very good at decorating!

The Ironclad

I've tried making my own royal icing before and just have never had great luck getting a consistency I like, so I figured for this I'd just get some store-bought icing. The yellow worked fine! The red...did not! It was the same brand and everything, but was super runny for some reason. My ironclad is melting 🫠

The Silent

I had the same problem with the black icing being very runny (spoilers: see The Regent), so I tried to use a toothpick to just sorta dab it on. Results are questionable.

My husband said we should get stars for the sprinkles, which is very cute. We don't talk about the rest of what happened here.

The Necrobinder

Decorating is hard, guys.

The Defect

I feel this is the only one that turned out fairly accurate. Thank goodness for minimal icing!

Bonus

I had extra cookie dough so I made some orbs. The dark orb looked more purple in IRL, I swear.

Thank you for coming on this journey with me. If I ever get the idea to decorate a baked good again please remind me not to do that. At least they taste good.

I’ve been loving spotting black crowned night herons in the city as they’ve been busy raising their fledglings in the trees above Lincoln Park Zoo. Had a go at drawing one! 🖤

(A little birdie told me I’ll be vending this September at The Urban Birding Festival and will be bringing prints of this along with some new bird stuff… it’s a ways off but I’m feeling inspired and excited about it!)

Problems with rivals? We got you covered! Citadel DLC was one of the funniest games I've ever played, each section was gold! And when I got to the part where Zaeed and Garrus were booby trapping my apartment... Every conversation in the party was amazing but these two won it for me 😆 I remember reading a comment that says they should start a home security company after the war, and I couldn't resist hahahahah Here they are, a year after the war, citadel is being rebuilt (of course they started from the bar) What else do you think they have on the shop list?
