I haven’t actually been on this site in a long time I haven’t scrolled through for hours at a time yet I still don’t delete the app I feel like I’ve grown out of tumblr but something always brings me back. I have to say I’ve been much happier being off of here though. Maybe it’s time to unfollow toxic blogs. For anyone out there dealing with their issues on here I can tell you it’s making you worse it’s feeding into your illness depression, anxiety, eating disorders. The blogs you follow who don’t necessarily promote these things but post about them are making it harder for you to get better you might think it’s helping because you feel less alone but please spend some time off this website and I’m telling you you’ll feel better

Imagine how many people’s lives they ruined. There were probably so many women that went in there knowing they destroyed that test. Yet, when they got their results back…they had to be so confused and disappointed. Mentally and emotionally, that had to be quite the blow. Anyway, this is evil.

I was in the car with my family and my mom was talking about how much time she thinks “our generation wastes on the internet” or whatever. And I was explaining how I use the internet to read and curate more interests and hobbies and expand my social horizons etc. and she was just like “Well fine if that’s how you want to live. You can waste all your time on the internet if that’s what you want but I beg to differ” and without thinking I just said “then beg.” and the entire car went silent until we got home. it was the biggest power move i have ever made to date
