I miss my sweet baby so badly. I am fortunate enough to have the ability to go and visit her sister, but its still so so hard.

Her name is Taffy, she's only 2 months old, and she's been having focal seizures. She has seen multiple vets, has been on medication for a little over 2 weeks, and we are making an appointment to see a specialist as soon as possible. The seizures have suddenly gotten worse within the last 48 hours, it's very scary, and there is literally nothing else we can do for her atm

Pics of my sweet girl :,( had to rush her back to the emergency vet after 3 back to back seizures. They couldn't do anything for her, but the vet we spoke to this time seemed very confident that her dose of seizure medication was way too low for her current weight and had us increase it significantly more than last time. I'm so hopeful that this will give her a break until the 29th, when we see the specialist 🙏🏻

Thank you so much to anyone who liked, reblogged, or even just sent a kind thought or prayer her way. The seizures continued to get worse despite medication and hospitalization, and we made the decision to euthanize her this morning after talking with the vets. We only had her for a little over a month, but I loved her dearly. My dad has been fighting cancer, and her presence was deeply comforting. She was so so spoiled and loved, and I just hope she felt that 💔

We had to take Taffy back to the emergency vet last night because the seizures were just too much. It's horrible to watch her go through that, I just want her to be happy and healthy again. I can't believe just a few days ago she was completely fine, running laps around our room and tearing our blinds up at every opportunity. I miss her so terribly.
