Introduction

I'm white of largely Scottish and German heritage, and I'm from the United States on Myaamia land.

Ich spreche (ein bisschen) Deutsch und ich würde gerne in Deutschland für mein Masterstudium!

I believe in God, and I consider myself a Christian; these are the only two things I know for certain. My main goal is to experience God's love and presence wherever it can be found as opposed to strictly following the lines set by sect or specific doctrine.

That said, I roughly consider myself to be "Quanglican," for a variety of reasons, finding comfort in both Episcopalian and Quaker traditions as operational frameworks for my practice and theology.

Most of my content I post with my Christian beliefs in mind. That said, I do strive to make interfaith posts as well, as all traditions have something to learn from.

I am queer and explicitly affirming of queer people of all faith traditions, no question.

Anyone of any or no faith is free to follow, so long as they're respectful—Pagans, atheists, Satanists, or even just for aesthetics or fandom purposes. I believe all faith traditions hold pieces of truth.

On that note, spam liking and reblogging is okay and encouraged—I'm honored that my posts can speak to you in that way.

You are also free to follow if you disagree with me in any way, and I encourage all forms of friendly, respectful dialogue on this blog.

Never forget that all human life comes through a womb. genitals are holy and a symbol of life, not lust and taboos that must be hushed.

This is why medieval Christians depicted Christ's side womb to resemble a vulva, this is why gender was ambiguous and played with in mysticism to God.

because Christ is God and God is nor man or woman, but a combination of us all across the board, for we are made in His image! God is the womb of life and we are His fruit, the blood of His wounds poured out like the blood pouring out of womens wombs when they give birth, because in His sacrifice He birthed salvation, the eternal life.

Mary also resembles a vagina in certain images and poses because she is the ultimate lifebringer, She gave birth to Christ, but in that she also gave birth to the eternal life of us all. She is undeniably the Mother of Life and Humanity.

Notice how in a few of these, the icons head is the clitoris, the body is the vuvla, there are even some detailed to mark the urethra. This symbolizes how God and His saints and angels are not only within us, but the source of life in both spiritual living and rebirth, but also physical and literal.

so please; do not demonize female sexuality or any sexuality at all in the name of Christianity, because in the truth of our spirituality; our bodies, our pleasure, our desires, our love, and the power that lies in our wombs is so, so very holy.

For me, the spirituality of subtraction is the foundation of Quaker simplicity: to order my life so that I have the space and freedom to hear, listen, and respond willingly to the One who speaks to my condition. It goes by different names at different times and places: the via negativa, apophatic spirituality, single-pointed awareness, and others. Always the great goal is to make room for the One who speaks.

Theology without practice is nothing. You must do more than realize that Jesus stood in support of the marginalized. You must also stand with him. That means feeding the hungry, giving to the needy, believing women and queer people, supporting the lives and security of Black and brown people, standing against violence and cruelty, opposing state enforced abuse + capitalism, and being willing to give yourself to others when you know you are able to help.

i keep going through cycle of guilt of loving and worshipping God to then denying his existence to thinking i must suffer divine punishment for denying his existence….. does this mean anything?
