I'm trying out new styles for every pair, for Alvin and Brittany I'm using a more simple style compared to Simon and Jeanette. I'm saving up the most complicated style I've done for Theodore and Eleanor which I'll probably regret.

I've started learning animation cus I wanted to try something new, here's my very first attempt at animating a character so it's a bit rough, of course it had to be Jeanette. Unfortunately college has been killing me a lot so I'm posting this now because I know this is the most progress I'll ever make on this one before I get the time to work on personal stuff again.

Hope you guys don't mind Jeanette without glasses. You can tell I was pretty much dead at the end by how different she looks at the end frame.

Just got a new art tablet and we finally got the chance to fully test it out.

The first drawing on a new art tablet is notoriously tricky to choose because it has to be an easy drawing that still allows all the usual colors and character features to be tested.

Nothing too nuts with outfits this time, but Simon’s in the shirt he shares with Alvin (and Albert-Vincent) and Alvin’s in his Classic Alvin hoodie but keeping the other 2.0 features around.

Britt has crazy eyes. Eleanor is upside down for some reason. Theo’s making the “crazy” sign. And Netta has her little rodent hands!!!

I hope they make you smile. The world is rough and whimsy is needed.

Ah, yes, that's Alvin, he's just kind of redesigned, and I put on glasses with the fire shape that I found on Pinterest, because I thought it would match

And also some bandages, because I thought it would also fit since Alvin is always getting hurt in the series

Sometimes, when people ask who my favorite is, I try to downplay how it's obviously Alvin. But then I look at the album of Chipmunk art and sigh because...yeah, it's pretty obvious. He's just so fun to draw!

Anyway, doing some AU work! I have different versions of each of the boys' looks and wanted to make a pseudo-lineup of them individually. Kinda like model sheets, but not really?? Whatever.

....I might make a comic for the AU. I don't know. I like the story a lot. I think it'd be fun... I already have a webcomic I need to be working on, but I can multi-task...
