Priya Dewan and Goth Girl

I get big bi energy from her in the party seen, the way she danced with and looked at the pretty goth girl. And in both the story board and actual shot her friends are watching with smug looks on their faces, and in the film Abby says, “Yeah, you get em girl!”

In fact, the exact moment the song says the word love, is the same moment they are closest together and neither’s hands are covering their face.

In the story board version the goth girl was even blushing. Their gaze is a little different than the one in the film, a little more intimate. It is to bad Disney is forcing its studios to limit lgbt rep to the far background or one off lines.

OKAY SO I have some main things to dump thoughts about - fish scales and overall design/biology, some sea monster puberty, and hibernation and migration. Some of it is like “this is what I’ve decided I like” - some other stuff is like “what if this was a thing?” TBH it’s MANY THOUGHTS, FEW CONCLUSIONS. This is so fucking long, buckle up. (I’ll also do a second post more focused on culture and body language, bc I ended up rambling too much about a wip of mine in particular.)
