this isn’t going to make it in the timeline bc it’s not really GL related but I do need newer fans to know about the saga of Okada’s tights

so he usually wore these great shorts but he started wearing long pants instead when he was not exactly being a heel but sure as hell being kind of a dick

and everyone hated those pants so much, and then he lost the title to Kenny at Dominion and he handled it Very Well Thank You, it in no way completely reframed his relationship with himself and the audience and his entire worldview it was FINE. but he diddd dye his hair red about it

and start bringing balloons to the ring as you do. just trying to have a nice time!!!! and okay he was clearly struggling a lot with who he was and what was lovable about him sans title, and then like he didn’t have enough on his plate he got betrayed by his best friend/manager and jay white tried to takeover CHAOS

but THEN at WK for his match against Jay White, Okada entered to his old music for the first time in AGES and when he came out his hair was gold again and he was wearing his old golden coat and everyone was soooo happy to see him like that again bc he was so clearly Going Thru It before

AND THEN!!!!!!! after he got to the ring he did a SHORTS RUVEAL

like he got a special entrance skirt made and everything!! It was literally one of the biggest pops of the whole night like everyone was SO HAPPY AND EXCITED and HE KNEW!!! he knew how happy it would make everyone, he made it into a moment just for us ;-;
