Overshadow

Never in my life will I pass a group of people laughing and think “that must have been a good story” or  “i wish i could have heard what that joke was! he/she is probably pretty funny.” I know it was probably about me.

Never will I see myself the way I am. Their ghosts remind me who I was. What I can’t become again. 

Never will I be certain that people really like me. Maybe they just tolerate me. It hurts too much to think about asking.

Never will I feel okay for more than one day in a row.

I’ve come so far and my will is strong. But sometimes the metaphorical “voice in the back of my head” likes to tear open old wounds.

It’s easy and I like it. Against my better judgement that I am a socially driven creature.

There are one or two people in this world who ever experience the “real” me. The one who is happy to be out of the expanded cubicle I call my room. 

I’m trying really hard not to be that guy anymore

Everyone deserves the real me.

Last night I almost became lucid in my dream

after i kissed Ryan Gosling twice 

but then i just got mad because he fucked my girlfriend and i lost the lucidity.
