So rewatching the scene in Episode 6 when Qimir is getting dressed and talking to Osha about how Sol was more than a master to her gave me a weird idea.

What if Osha was in love with Sol and that’s why she took his deceit so deeply. Like it started off as hero worship that grew to a crush and beyond. But of course Sol only ever saw her as a child, as his child.

That’s why the convo Qimir continues with in the cave about all the emotions including desire could mean he knows she feels this way towards Sol.

I’m not saying this is what the show is doing but an interesting way to interpret

idk about any other solmae-rs out there, this is just my personal take, but as a heavily bisexual person~

you've been seeing mae. it's not exactly a secret - you're not afraid of others knowing - but it's for your own safety, she tells you. and for hers. it's just better this way, hidden in the dark, touches and kisses and stolen moments that can never amount to anything more

and then one day she disappears. you think she's finally gone and done something stupid enough to get her killed. or she finally got tired of you and moved on. both seem likely enough. and you mourn what might have been, you mourn the feelings you had for her and the way she made you feel, and you make your peace with it

except she's not dead. and she didn't abandon you. she returns to you weeks (months?) later as a fundamentally different person. broken in a strange new way that she wasn't before, but somehow also stronger, a little less burdened by the world around her. she doesn't tell you what happened, only that she missed you

you also never quite expected her to bring a disowned jedi to your door, yet... here he is. and he's handsome and quiet and he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders the same way that mae does. and you never expected to fall for him too, but you do. and it's awful bc you feel wrong for it, like there's something broken inside you, and you feel that way until the tension finally boils over and the three you find yourself intertwined on your bed, panting and sweaty and desperate
