Rocky has noticed the way Grace’s eyes linger a beat too long on him. How Grace gets flustered when he’s around. He even stops breathing all together when Rocky gets much too close. Rocky needs answers. His human is touch starved after all. 🪐 ☕️

So many new things and so many things missing -- two limbs that aren't there, so many vocal chords gone, (imagine having to learn to ennunciate sounds you've heard a million times but never have been able to produce), sounds missing, feelings lost, it's cold and yet comfortable and you can hear and feel thumping that was never there before and your body is a massless goop that it never has been and everything is leaky and fuzzy and none of it makes any sense

Ever since the strange solar storm that hit the Hail Mary caused Rocky to change into a human, there's been some adjustments and rough learning curves. Grace expected that. However, what he hadn't anticipated was the involuntary physical reactions his friend would cause him. A flushed face, elevated heart rate, and the ever-present awareness of Rocky's every move. It didn't help that Rocky remembered they no longer had a barrier between them. 🪨🦊
