Life Drawing - Week 1 drawings

Been attending life drawing classes led by professional artist Rory Williams at The Customs House.

It's really helping me with proportions and posing, as well as helping find the fun in art again. Also I only used pen for these illustrations, meaning no sketching out in pencil first, as I'm also trying to build up my confidence in lines.

I made a quick ref sheet for the body of my conjoined twin Cuphead OCs/fankids- it's probably the main thing that's been the most inconsistent when I draw them.

So, this is now how I see their bodies and their anatomy. I once said a while ago that they share a lung, but I no longer think they do, considering how I've now visualised their anatomy with separate ribcages.

This also gave me another opportunity to study the human skeleton, which is always a plus.

Jaemi's new design in a funky pose

Drawing my characters in funky poses as an attempt to heal my creative burnout. Had fun drawing this. Also Jaemi has a new design, as I've been wanting to alter his uniform, so now he has a top hat and a cape, along with socks and garters lol. I feel like this made him fit more with the fantasy pseudo-victorian aesthetic.

Been burnt out for several months, but this image came into my head this week.

Her name was Maria, a almost 8ft tall ancient Zyklops (cyclops race) that fought for equality amongst the ancient races. Legend says she was ambushed, st@bbed in the back, before being b£he@ded.

Been shying away from darker stuff recently, but been thinking about the lore of my story, and wanting to shift into darker themes.
