Book:

This one is the hardest for me cause reading is like the only thing I do now. I loved Platform Decay, its by far my favorite Murderbot book now. Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid destroyed me in the best way. I had to pause it so I didn't sob at work. And I read the newest Emily Austin book this past week and I loved it. I've read so much queer con rom this year so far that I've adored too.

Last Series:

So those of yall who know me know I don't watch much TV, but I did just re-watch Heated Rivalry with my wife so I could watch her watch it. We also watch alot of the improv shows on Dropout. 😄

Film:

Ok straight up the only films I have watched this year are the 2005 Pride and Prejudice, The Prince of Egypt, and The Road to El Dorado. All bangers.

Coffee or Tea:

Coffee. Its my go to, although since working nights I havent been having as much since I can't figure out what time to drink it lol. Also they don't do sweet iced tea up here where I moved and its very sad.

Current Projects:

The real current project is getting the apartment set up. I have installed vertical spaces for the cats all over the living room and I am still figuring out what plants can live where since the boys (the cats) have decided that plants are toys now.

Honestly there's something to be said for just getting your hands dirty sometimes. Forget touching grass, go dig around in some mud. Find some sand and feel it. Pick up some stones. Look at some worms, maybe some bugs and frogs are there too. Re-pot some plants. Clean out a fish tank, or whatever critter. Touch that substrate. Make something out of clay. Paint something.

Im a southerner at my core but our tiny single window unit cant reach the bedroom and I was already having an insomnia day 🙃 but! I very effectively put a frozen paper towel on the back of the fan which has dramatically lowered the temperature in the bedroom. Unfortunately the fan blowing on me is a sensory nightmare.

Bebe has love me working nights during the week, cause she gets to cuddle while I sleep during the day and then cuddle with my wife while she sleeps at night. But she hates my weekends. She does not understand why we cant both go lay down and go to bed with Mommy, but she isnt gonna go without me.

She is all tucked in and pouting hard cause the cats are playing and she just wants to go to bed.

On today's episode of are you smarter then two 9 lbs cats: Momo knocks over the brand new value pack of cat greenies giving Cooper the opportunity to sneak and drink my coffee straight out of the mug.

Conclusion: no I am not smarter then two 9 lbs cats.

Bonus: Beatrice (50lbs dog) ate a dozen of the treats before I could pick them up
