The Snowman & The Snowdog, Live To Picture

Last year Ilan Eshkeri & I worked together to write the music for Channel 4's 'The Snowman & The Snowdog', the sequel to the 1982 Television classic 'The Snowman'. This year we’re gonna perform the full score LIVE TO PICTURE!! The show will be at Union Chapel on Dec 12th, 13th, 14th with my band, Steve, Stu & Mike &.....The London Metropolitan Orchestra!! After the film, we’ll then be joined onstage by some very special guests for some festive Christmas classics. Gonna be a truly magical show..

NYLON SUMMER

hello how d'you do?

Been a while since I wrote a proper messagey, updatey, thingamajig ....

So here me goes!

Next week me and my lil' family are gonna be moving back to London from NYC, where we've been living for the last 15 months.. It's been amazing.

Me, Keith & Chris made a brand new We Are Scientists Album & EP - (both due for imminent release) - & I've been lucky to work with all kinds of awesome other people on various other projects whilst we've been here.. It's truly been a brilliant and inspiring time.

Last week me and my band played the PinkPop festival in Holland, & the Caribana festival in Switzerland. Both were ACES ! Thanks to all who came to listen...

Next up are some dates in Holland, Belgium & the UK (see my website for dates and ticket links blah blah).....

Oh! Also there's an amazing album by Tom Odell to be released next week.. 'Long way down' is his brilliant debut.

Tom & I wrote a song together which features on the LP , it's called "Sirens" .. Go check it. Tom is amazing - tho, you don't need me to tell you that anymore!!

I'm gonna get working on my 2nd album as soon as we're done with festivals. I can't wait.

I'm so grateful, as ever, for your continued support.

Dear you duuudes,

I'm currently in a very rainy Zurich with my band, we're getting ready to play here tonight.

Been ages since I wrote , & I wanted to say a massive massive Thankyou to all of you who came along to our shows in the UK & Europe this past month. They have been amazing, & I am so very grateful for all your continued support. We have a few more to go on this run, - in Germany, then it'll be festival season to look forward to.

I am so SO excited that mine & Ilan Eshkeri's soundtrack to The Snowman & the Snowdog has been nominated for a BAFTA. Totally Chuffed to bits we are.

I've started writing & demoing songs for my next album, which I'm gonna record in late Summer... So hopefully there'll be a new song or two for your ears this year, then Album early next year..
