This morning the company behind DAPL said that they would refuse to comply with the government's orders to reroute the pipeline on the basis that they aren't actually legally binding. In short, the orders/ruling of the ACoE (Army Corps of Engineers) did NOT actually stop this pipeline. It would be more accurate to say that they just REQUESTED it to be rerouted. Further construction of the pipeline is to be continued based on the corporation behind DAPL's own statement. The fight is not over at all. #NoDAPL #FuckDAPL #WaterIsLife

I've noticed that everyone I've talked to like this is privileged as fuck and just doesn't actually care enough about their fellow man to do shit about the atrocities that Trump has already bragged he will set in motion. It's one thing to not do shit, but don't turn around and condescendingly criticize those who do want to organize to defend their communities as if they're doing something wrong just because they have a love and passion for the people that you don't. The only reason Hitler was ever defeated and the Jewish people were ever freed (MY RELATIVES) is because of ARMED STRUGGLE. This is an indisputable FACT but unfortunately many have already been programmed into submission and passivity by the state. What means "peace" to you as a privileged individual, may mean death and imprisonment for many other innocent people...
