As women, we're raised in this society to pick apart our appearance. So critically: My skintone is uneven. I have freckles that aren't cute like the ones people like to fake. I have huge bags under my eyes. My eyebrows might as well not even exist. My schnoze is enormous. But also: My uneven skintone is relatively clear of blemishes. My freckles show that I like to work in the sun. The bags under my eyes show that I sacrifice sleep for other, more important things. I rarely have to groom my eyebrows. And my nose might be huge, but it scoops up at the tip which I think is super cute. I know more than anyone what my own flaws are. But I don't care!
