You're far too kind. There are plenty of things to do in this weather. Possibly just ponder on things, you could even read me one of your books.
Well to each their own, Miss Mitchell. There was a time when I couldn’t imagine not living in this city. No, no, you’re fine. I learned world geography and literature, and many other interesting topics, although those were perhaps the highlights. I can assure you my homecoming was not a result of my parents missing me. That sounds amazing! I’d love to travel around the country, even around the world. Which destination was your favorite? Oh, Oregon. Did you strike gold on the West coast like many others? My pleasure.
To each their own. Have you changed so much since then? World Geography? That must mean you would know of the European countries and such. Did you learn of Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo and Juliet? I can't believe why else would they want you home then? Then you should! Travel the country I mean or even the world! Anything is possible. Would it be terrible to say it is New York? Oh no but quite yes, it's a bit complicated you see. Lovely.

This town has gotten me unamused lately.

Influential Mitchell. || Anette & Callia
"I do believe the horse’s name is Bella." She grinned as she watched the girl from inside of the carriage. Callia had not come across a girl quite as innocent as the young Mitchell for quite some time, but New York had the tendency to do that to people, no matter their strong will to resist. Callia Archer was known for resistance, and as the girl’s eyes met her own she could tell she was a curious one. Callia could not reveal to the young girl her feelings for Lucien, for the both of them were so singly intense around one another, that it would not be hard for them to guess what it was that was occurring.
"Only the best for a new arrival." She grinned as the girl began to enter the carriage, watching as she passed the fellow escorting them a thank you. The young incompetence for class made her nearly laugh, though her wavering moods kept her from doing so. "My favorite place? Oh the choices. Probably Central Park though, Darling. It is where I do my best thinking." She sighed happily and removed her white silken gloves from her hands, placing them inside of the lining of her clutch. Gazing over Anette nearly made her forget the question at hand, though not completely. "I’m fine - Thank you for wondering though." She put on her best forced grin, politely nodding. She did not wish to roll her eyes or give the small girl attitude while she had the interest in her eldest brother. To be on the most influential sibling’s bad side would create problems with Lucien she was sure. But as much as she wished to put faith in someone - anyone - even Anette, she was unable. How did she explain that she was not only head over heels for Lucien, but married? And unhappily so. Her fronts were becoming tiring, and wearing at her heart strings but what other choice did she have? "What do you say we get you a pair of vintage gloves for those beautiful hands?" She grinned, switching the subject on topic.
"That is such a beautiful name." To Anette Callia's life sounded like a fairytale, a dream that she herself will be living. Remembering the stares she got the young brunette wondered if maybe and possibly she was already living this lovely life? She felt even a bit empowered with this thought and her already great mood turned to an excellent one. Happy that Lucien had met Callia which was the possible prompting for her to be nice to Anette. She didn't mind this though, sure that more of Callia's affections were because of her individual character and not because of her brother.
"Thank you Callia." Her voice was incredibly sincere. "I have only seen it two or three times to be honest, could we maybe go and have a small appearance there? Please? Do you think a lot Callia?" Anette asked playfully. "Alright, no thanks necessary." She was quite oblivious to the elegant woman's faking and deemed her slightly forced expressions as something she would keep private.
Anette gazed at her fingers at the comment, is that what all the elite girls wore in New York? Gloves did sound very lovely, why not? "That would be great! Thank you Callia, once again. You're too kind. Where do you shop for gloves in New York? Actually where do you shop for anything in New York?"
I think it seems as if I was away for longer than I actually was.
Another person just returning back to the city? I must say you have missed a lot. New York is glorious and I'm sure you would soon feel as if you've never left!

It’s quite difference from the city, yes, but it does have it’s own kind of allure. Not so much as one might think, actually. I quite enjoyed my time away. I learned many interesting things, and it was only by my parents’ insistence that I’m back. Oregon? Well, that is far away. How is it over there? Right above California, am I right? Well anyways, it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss Mitchell. I do hope you’ll be staying awhile. I’m Vincent. Vincent Greenwood.
It's allure is more practically to me, possibly why I am not as fond of it. Interesting things? Such as? Pardon me, if I am being intruding. They missed their son! Yes, and I have been traveling since with my brothers Lucien and Truman, that is how I know of places like Boston, Detroit, Chicago etc. All very beautiful places. Oregon is home, lovely and safe but lacks the dazzle that New York seems to ooze. Correct. I do hope so thank you Vincent.
