A New Direction

I know it’s way too early in the year but will you be doing any holiday chapters like Halloween?

I haven’t really decided yet, but there are a few options I’m weighing. Because I was talking with Hit-or-Mish and they had a really good idea for a Halloween episode. So I do want to do a Halloween episode, but I’m not sure I’ll do it if it happens very far away from Halloween IRL. 

I’m thinking there are four options, you guys let me know which one you prefer:

1. Do a Halloween chapter when Halloween would be in the story.

2. Do a Halloween chapter when Halloween would be in real life (so probably making it more of a spooky chapter or someone deciding to throw a halloween party whenever just for the fun of it)

3. Posting a Halloween chapter when Halloween hits IRL, but posting it outside of the actual story.

4. Posting a Halloween chapter when Halloween hits IRL in the actual story, but outside of the timeline (like they did that one Christmas episode on Glee).

What do you guys think?

I’m doing weeks for the characters over on the other tumblr, and I have a question. Would you guys want the next week to be for a returning character, or for a new one? I have two new characters of my own, so we could do a week for one of them, or we could do a week for a character from the original story. Which would you guys prefer?

The New Tumblr

So I decided to make a new tumblr for the reboot, so I wouldn’t have to make any changes to this one!

To start this tumblr off, I’ve decided to each week release the profile of a character from the reboot! I’ll also put out their family profiles and hopefully moodboards!

I also want to open this up for you, the readers, to ask questions about the character, like we’ve done with half-weeks before! I thought this would be a fun way for you to get to know the new characters, and reacquaint yourselves with the old ones.

I’ve been playing around with a few storylines, and there are a couple of characters I think would be fun to add in. However, I don’t want to create so many characters for the story, so I thought it would be fun to have you guys create them! Just send me a message here or on Fanfiction and we can discuss the ideas!

Are there any songs you would like to see in the reboot? Or themes? I’m playing around with a couple of ideas and would love your input! Any specific storylines you would be interested in? (pregnancy, coming out, etc.)

I’m thinking I will make a new tumblr for the re-boot. That way this tumblr can stay the same, but we’ll have a clean slate for the new story.

Do any of you have any suggestions for some good themes or theme makers for free? I want something fairly simple, but I would love it if I were able to have pictures of the members on the front page. Opportunity for splashes of color would be cool too. The main thing is that there needs to be room for my navigation though.

When is the deadline to submit a character?

I’m thinking February 20th as a tentative deadline now.

By the way, anyone who wants to submit, feel free to send me a message and we can talk a little bit about the character you want to submit! I don’t want anyone to spend forever on a form (I know it’s a long form), for a character who is very similar to one I already have. Feel free to message me here or on fanfiction!

Will there be any changes when it comes to relationships in the reboot?

Do you mean in terms of who I pair together, or general relationships? Because I believe it’s a yes to both. Obviously the new characters will influence friendship dynamics, but even between previously established characters there are some changes.

A fun change is that two characters who didn’t originally have much to do with each other, will now be “cousins” of sorts.

I’ve received two so far! And I know there is a third one on the way!

Are there any characters you already know won't be in the reboot?

There’s some I’m fairly sure won’t make the cut, but it will still depend on the new characters that are submitted. The reason characters won’t be returning is that for some reason or other I’m struggling to write for them, like I either can’t get under their skin, or I can’t think of storylines for them (which in part could be due to the other characters). That’s why I don’t want to reveal just yet which characters I’m sure I’m keeping and which ones I don’t know about.

Are there anymore Graham siblings?? And if so, are they involved in the arts as well??? I'm excited to see where the reboot takes us!

I don’t have any more Graham siblings planned, but who knows, there might be another one. There’s a pretty significant age gap between Mathias and Dominic, so don’t be surprised if we meet a third brother, or a sister at some point. Their entire family is very Arts-centered. Their mother was an artist, and their father was a producer. I’m glad you’re excited!

Older, less-successful brother to Dominic Graham, Mathias is the kinder of the two. Less sharp and refined than his younger brother, Mathias prefers to work with people rather than money.
