Melanie: That's right. knew that. I'm sorry.
Melanie: no. can i see you this afternoon?
Angeline: of course. do you want to come over then? i've got coffee (or wine if that's what you'd prefer) and martin's at work.

“A white wine it is, my angel,” Marty swooned, grinning wildly over at Angie as he poured out two glasses of white wine for them. He put the bottle back and made his way over, hand her the glass, letting his fingers linger against her own. He leant in, pressing a quick kiss to her lips before answering. “Work was good, which is always an odd thing to say. Considering I deal in divorce,” he murmured, amusement clear on his face. “I actually dealt with a couple happy to divorce. It’s surprising, but it happens, I know.”
angeline couldn’t help but beam in marty’s presence. he always seemed to have that effect on her. even after an argument, she could never stay mad at him for long. every moment with him was pure joy, and the blonde felt so lucky to have found him, as cheesy as it sounded.
after returning his kiss, she brought the glass of wine to her lips, eyes still on the man in front of her, listening attentively. “well, that’s a nice change. an amicable divorce... sounds like a dream.” she mused before chuckling quietly.

It was Hugo’s last day off his week holiday from work, and decided to treat himself with a Hazelnut Praline Late with soya. It was his favorite holiday drink, and what better way to start the next few weeks before the break for Christmas. After taking one sip of his drink he just stood for a moment, starting out the window recognising somebody sat outside. Before he knew it his drink was all over him, as well as the others. “I..fuck, that burns” Hugo muttered, he wasn’t to curse but it was so sudden. “It’s okay, it’s okay” he kept repeating, trying not freak out. He understood the other would feel really bad in the moment, and he didn’t want to make her feel any worse.
angeline sighed at her clumsy mistake, immediately asking one of the cashiers for a bag of ice. of course she’d do something like this. it was in her nature to be a bit uncoordinated, though, when you saw how well she carried herself, and how graceful she was on the screen, you’d never guess that she was so awkward in real life. “try this.” she suggested, handing the ice to him before signalling to the barista to make him another coffee. “i’m so sorry! are you okay?” she asked, genuinely concerned.

Saturday morning were quiet easily Ben’s favorite days to work. The court rooms were only open half days on Saturday so that meant he only had to be at work from eight AM to three PM. He was taking a small break and headed across the street to get his afternoon caffeine fix. He stood in line in his own little world, not even noticing that the blonde in front of him was barreling his way. It wasn’t until he felt the hot liquid burning at his skin that he was brought to reality.”oh fuck.” he said rather loudly as he jumped back, pulling the damn shirt away from his body as he let out a sigh. “no, it’s fine. Accident’s happen.” he told her, only looking up for a brief moment as he took a few napkins from her to dab up the coffee from his shirt and pants.
angeline wasn’t one to swear, but in this instance, it called for it. “fuck, i am terribly sorry!” she was very embarrassed, and wanted to make it up to the young man. "i apologise. let me buy you a coffee, yeah?” she suggested, a hopeful smile on her face.
martyaarons·:
Marty chuckled at her words, giving her hand a quick kiss before she moved off of the bed. He shook his head a little in amusement, but stood up, following her out towards the kitchen. “Red or white, sweetheart?” Marty asked, moving over to the wine fridge and looking over her curiously.
angeline took a few moments to ponder what she felt like, tilting her head as she was deep in thought. “uh... white wine!” she replied as she leaned against the counter, watching her man with a smile on her face. “i forgot to ask earlier, how was work?”
thecloverkennedy·:
“Fuck..” Clover shrieked out as coffee split all over her, seeping onto her laptop bag and over her brand new white sneakers. Jumping back before she looked at the blonde and took the napkins, going to the nearest table to dap down her laptop. “Seriously.. Look where you’re going dude..”
angeline winced, instantly feeling terrible. she could be so clumsy sometimes. immediately, she followed the girl to the table, doing her best to help clean up the mess. “i’m so sorry. i don’t know where my head is at right now. can i buy you a coffee or something? again, i’m very sorry.”
With great respect, a man like him could blow my cover.

angeline didn’t get many days off. the life of an actress meant she spent more time on set than at home, but she dealt with it. keeping busy took her mind off things she didn’t want to think about and it worked well for her — it was a routine she had become accustomed to.
it was a rainy saturday morning and the blonde found herself in her usual coffee shop. she was in a daze, barely listening to what the barista was saying to her. she just nodded and smiled. once she had ordered, she turned around and before she knew it, she had bumped into someone, spilling coffee all over them. “oh god... i’m so sorry! please, let me help...” she apologised profusely, reaching for some napkins to help clean the mess up.
motherly-aelin·:
Aelin couldn’t help but blush as she got off stage. It’d been a good set, a great set even. Her tip jar looked over flowing. She was walking to the bar for some water when she bumped arms with someone. “Oh sorry, excuse me.”
sometimes after a long time on set, angeline found herself in the nearest bar to wind down. there was something comforting about lively bars that made her feel at ease. all different types of people, drinking and socialising, some minding their own business and others engaging in friendly banter.
moving towards the bar, the blonde felt herself bump into someone. as if it were a reflex, her gaze shot up to the person she had clashed with. “oh, no. don’t apologise. it’s fine.” she reassured with a smile before examining the woman a little more closely, realising who she was. “hey! great performance up there. you’re really talented.”
darling-celena·:
Celena couldn’t help but adore the city’s lights. The holiday sights and sounds were always such a favorite of hers. “I adore this time of year, don’t you?”
angeline quirked a brow when she heard someone speak to her. with a chuckle, she shrugged. “it’s beautiful, but i’ve never been much of a festive person, you know?”
martyaarons·:
Marty shook his head, waving his free hand in dismissal. “It’s fine, Angel and completely understandable,” he told her with a genuine smile. He returned the kiss softly before pulling away. “Since we know now, how about a glass of wine?” He suggested with a slight chuckle. “I know you’ve been wanting to indulge,” he told her with a smirk.
at marty’s words, angeline smirked, shifting her position on the bed. “oh, darling, you read my mind!” she replied with a laugh. he knew her too well, it was almost scary. she then stood up, smoothing down her shirt before leading the way to the kitchen. “coming?” she chuckled before turning back around, the smirk still present on her face.
sxreis·:
Sam shrugged. “Unit Chief threatened to suspend if I didn’t so.” She shrugged. She cast her eyes down at the drawings her team mates had done on her cast. They could be quite silly, the whole lot of them. She wouldn’t change them for the world.
Her expression was stony and showed little to no emotion as she looked over at her ex-wife. “Do you want it?” Her question was perhaps too cruel to ask so quickly, so bluntly. Part of her though wanted to know. Wanted to know if it had just been Sam that influenced her want for children. Maybe it was. Maybe she just hadn’t wanted kids with Sam. Ugh, why should she care anyway?
angeline’s focus dropped to her lap, watching as she played absentmindedly at the hem of her shirt. seeing samantha always hurt, no matter the context, it reminded her of their past together and how abruptly it ended. it needed to happen, but the pain was still there. “well, i’m glad you listened to him then.” hesitantly glancing up to her ex as she spoke.
a pang of guilt hit her chest at sam’s next question. she had to fight tears from forming. god, she didn’t want to cry. especially not in front of the brunette. “honestly? no.” she replied softly, biting her lip. “we’re both happy being child free... and you know me, i don’t want to put my career on hold.”
