Hi, so um…It’s about time I made this post. I really didn’t want to and just wanted to rely on commissions and adopts but I’m really low on funds. (and no one is really buying from me anyways besides few people, but it’s not enough to survive on)
I didn’t want to make this because every single time on multiple sites when I make a “donation” “pls help” post I never actually get any donations but get pity comments instead, which doesn’t help. (and i’m sure this post is going to end up being the exact same thing, so i’m not getting my hopes up.)
I’m in a bit of a crisis. I’m extremely stressed out along with dealing with constant emotional abuse on top of it all.
It’s a very long explanation and I’m willing to share it with anyone who asks, but to avoid making this super long i’m going to shorten the story and sum it up the best I can.
Me and my (emotionally abusive) family is broke and extremely poor. We have gone through 2 bankruptcies because the company my parents worked for got bought out by bigger ones. These past few years we have been doing somewhat ok from my mother working but recently in these past few months of 2018 everything has gone to shit. We are broke and to top it all off my mother almost died from a sinus infection and that got into the brain and had to get emergency surgery (She does not have the left side of her skull back on yet, and the infection was very bad on the left side where speech is so she’s having to relearn and is struggling with that), they kicked her out early with tubes still in her because we do not have insurance. (it’s been a few weeks and she’s doing better and had some stuff removed already, she still has to go everyday to the hospital which is miles away from our home a 2 hour drive, to get check ups and medicine for the infection until the 15th of april) anyways it left us with a 2000$ bill that we DO NOT have the money for.
On top of that, we barely have any food. We can barely feed ourselves and our pets. We are very unhealthy, hell both me and brother are VERY underweight. I even developed a nasty habit of not eating and sleeping off hunger. My father cannot work due to his back injury has gotten worse over the years. He needs back surgery but again no money. We have also been struggling with disability for 4 YEARS. Because they keep DENYING us. Because of mother they finally got around to adding us but they keep dragging their asses with our check. (on purpose most likely) It was suppose to come in soon but now they changed their minds for having us wait 3 more months. WE CAN’T WAIT THAT LONG. We can barely pay bills and everything and within the next month or so EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE SHUT OFF. No Internet, No phone, The two most important things we need because my dad is STILL filling out stuff FOR insurance and disability! (because again THEY KEEP DRAGGING US AROUND)
And also i’m just so fucking tired of being beaten down and shit on for being 20 and not having a job yet (because hey surprise surprise we just HAD to live out in the middle of nowhere, miles away from town, and have 1 shitty broken down car to go along with it) Obviously i’m not working in public places because i’m very mentally ill with terrible anxiety and paranoia, and my father keeps blaming me that i’m the problem and reason as to why I don’t have a large paying audience for my commissions and artwork. (which isn’t my fault! the art world is hard trying to make a living off of!)
