Hawks never had anything that was his. He had to give everything up to become the hero the Commission wanted him to be, and he was okay with that. At least, that’s what he always told himself. He felt guilty though, and selfish. Because he never truly gave up on everything. There was one thing he didn’t want to have taken away from him: his soulmate.

Dabi had left his old life behind. The person he used to be was dead, and he had been the one to kill him, without any remorse. Trusting and loving people had brought him to the brink of death, but now he was a completely different person. He wouldn’t make the same mistakes again.
