Have you ever wanted to draw something but you fought due to your skill level at the time you decide not to do it

Aah I used to, all the time. But, yknow, then I drew Groudon for the first time (and it looked terrible), but the next one looked better, and as I just kept going, I was then drawing Mass Effect characters, and even though the first 12 attempts looked HORRIBLE, I can now draw them in a way that makes me happy!

And then Red vs Blue got me drawing armor and mechs and now I am invincible

But, that's not saying that I'm always in a 'try, try again' mood -- if my brain chemistry is bein defeatist, I watch/play something inspiring and know I can try again later (which, recently, was about a 1 year break 😅)

It's hard to be forcibly reminded that because I drew a mech once does not mean I can draw whatever I want the way I want it the first try. But I'm back to failing until I succeed again!

The new and improved Opal!!! I was revisiting all my ocs again for funsies and just was not vibing with the Charmy clone Opal was created to be (see here) And then it hit me: creepy little girl spider

So Opal is mostly the same as before, she just now tries to make friends by ensnaring them in her webs! Charmy is not as fond of this version
