IMPORTANT!!!

I received hate but not on anon; and I was baffled because the person who sent the hate was one of my mutuals and I KNOW they'd never send hate to anyone. I refreshed my ask box - and the username and icon of my mutual were replaced by anon. Again: I KNOW this person would never send hate to anyone.

I then went through my posted anon replies from today and the same glitch showed up on another message, only that the url was that of a user who had long since deactivated, until it refreshed and went back to anon.

So if your anons suddenly show urls and icons, it's a tumblr glitch, and a dangerous one at that because it basically reveals people as anons who didn't send that anon message. I wrote a mail to inform the tumblr support about it. Don't know if that happened to anyone else lately but I figured I'd call it to your attention 😅
