ℓoaded encounter ➣ Castiel & Lucifer
Lucifer tutted softly at Castiel’s response, offering the younger angel a small shake of his head and a sardonic quirk of his lips. It seemed he was still quite bereft of any sense of sarcasm.
So foolish this war was, truly. Him and Raphael both were chasing dead ends; independence from God for Heaven as a whole would never work out, and restarting the apocalypse would simply fail before Raphael would have even begun to revitalize it. Neither he nor Michael were willing to begin fighting again no matter what the whole of Heaven desired.
"I do hope you know what you’re doing, brother." Lucifer spoke with a light furrow of his brow, his arms slowly crossing themselves about his chest. The last word of the archangel’s statement had been stated with a slight sarcastic irony in his tone; Lucifer didn’t care to be identified as his brethren.
"What business is it of yours, Lucier?" Castiel replis coolly. He knows that neither Lucifer nor Michael are willing to return to Heaven, and neither of them want a part in the current war. So why should Lucifer bother himself with Castiel's doings? This war is his own, and he has to deal with the consequences.Â
"You want no part in it, I understand. But if you refuse to return to Heaven and help your family, then I don't see why you should even care about my plight."
