One thing I've been learning with this is that it's to, and healthy to, grieve the life you could have had or deserved. For example i understand how intelligent i am now I'm my 30s but so many of my teachers didn't know how to teach me or believe in me that my future was almost gone from the start. I don't look at my like as a waste anymore but i do grieve the person who i could have been.

I was talking today with a fellow asexual who has been struggling with their sexuality and how it ties in with sexual trauma, and how they feel broken in relationships with allosexuals.

I just want to say, truly, to any asexual out there who feels broken or like they have to 'perform' for an allosexual partner:

You are worth more than putting yourself in such an uncomfortable position for someone - if you are not enthusiastic about it, you don't have to 'put up' with it. You deserve to live a life completely sexless, if you so choose, and your relationship does not mean you are beholden to owe your partner something.
