i love when i’m watching a video of a performer or entertainer, and the editors keep choosing clips where they’re looking into another camera.

are they really like

‘Hehe, you don’t know that you aren’t even looking at the audience right now.’

‘Hehe, we’re capturing you staring off somewhere and you look so weird.’

now ofc, it can be as innocent as trying to capture different angles and there could be other things in the shot than just the person. but it’s amusing for me to think about it like this lol
