Xavier pretended not to notice Angel’s reaction to when he’d taken his clothes off. There was no denying the way his heart swelled at it, but he covered that up pretty well, determined to do anything besides put himself first in this. However, he did raise his brows in shock when Angel had ducked back in and gave him another kiss. He found himself smiling at it, too, unable to help it. How was he always so precious without even trying? He gave X heart palpitations on a daily basis. “Good,” he murmured in approval to the other boy, making his way to the edge of the bed so that he could open up his nightstand drawer and pull out a condom and lube. Xavier set the items on the pillow next to the one Angel was resting his head on. He then shut the drawer and made his way back over to him, kneeling beside his body. Careful fingers hooked themselves under the waistband of Angel’s sweatpants and he pulled them down, glancing from where he was doing so up to Angel’s face. “You’re sure you’re ready, right?”

Angel's fingers were nervously toying with the hem of his sweater as Xavier made his way to the nightstand and back, but the nerves were just in anticipation, not in hesitation or second thoughts. He knew that it would be nothing like that night, which X had explained and apologized for and, of course, had been forgiven. It wasn't his fault, and they'd been waiting for the right time to do it over again. Angel knew that the right time was then, on his birthday when it was the one thing he had to give, and all he could do was nod at the question he was asked. He was ready and he knew what he was asking for, and he wanted nothing but to give all of himself to Xavier. "Yes..." he began in a whisper along with the nod, slightly shifting his hips to help him remove his pants, and a giggle seeped through his next words, "a-are you?"

At the mention of wanting it to be a surprise, Xavier nodded understandingly, mimicking his earlier actions of leaning down and pressing a kiss to Angel’s nose. He couldn’t help it, alright? The boy had a kissable nose; what was he to do besides kiss it? “S’alright,” was all that he said, his eyes trained on where Angel was now making his way onto the bed. Slowly but surely, Xavier followed, though he didn’t actually climb upon the bed until he’d gotten rid of his pants and shirt. “No, I don’t. What I want you to do is nothing. Absolutely nothing, but…” There, he fell quiet, crawling closer to Angel’s body, taking in the sight of him with eager eyes. Whether he was fully clothed, half naked or starkers, there’d always be a sight to take in when it came to Angel, one that hadn’t yet failed to make his heart beat harder. “But feel. Now lay down, babe, okay? Just get comfortable,” Xavier instructed, pecking him sweetly on the lips.

Angel's breath hitched audibly in his throat as he watched Xavier remove his shirt and pants, long past the times when he would have the urge to cover his eyes as if he weren't allowed to see, but his heart still clenched in his chest at the sight as it had the first time. The other boy was always telling him how beautiful he was, but he hoped that Xavier knew just how deeply he felt the same about him. He kept quiet while he joined him on the bed, waiting for him to continue, more than willing to do whatever he would say that Angel had to do. When he finally continued, there was a little smile on his lips whenever Xavier kissed him, sliding his fingers into his curls so that he could repeat the kiss once more in a fleeting moment of boldness before doing as he said. Angel was more than tempted to touch, but instead he wiggled around until he was lying back with his head on one of the pillows, his fingers lying against his stomach over his sweater and his eyes never once leaving Xavier's. "Okay?"

Upon entering his room, Xavier led Angel over to his bed with his hand in the other boy’s. He’d been about to let it go so that he could climb onto his bed, but then he noticed Angel turning to him, clearly getting ready to speak. Patient as ever, he stared down, his thumb absentmindedly rubbing against the skin of Angel’s hand. “You want to… give me you,” he repeated, thinking. Of course, it only took a second for him to understand what was being implied, he just. Well. “Angel, I thought… didn’t I ask you to tell me a few days beforehand so that I could get things ready? I wanted to, like. Decorate the room in rose petals and candles and…” Xavier trailed off with a sigh, smiling softly as he looked into those gorgeous blue eyes. He had to remember that this wasn’t about when he wanted it or what he wanted out of it. It was all about Angel. His choice, entirely. ”You’re really sweet for picking today, you know. Already, you’re the best gift I could ever imagine. D’you wanna get yourself comfortable on the bed, babe?”

Angel would've spoken up in the silence that followed Xavier repeating his words, but all he could do was nod, his cheeks growing warmer as he fought against the urge to bury his face into the other boy's chest until he figured out what he was trying to say. Luckily, it didn't take long, but it didn't lessen his embarrasment any. His words had him giggling a little at how sweet Xavier was, with the mention of rose petals and candles, and he could only pout a little before he spoke. "Just want you... wanted it to be a s-surprise." The pout lasted for a few seconds before he beamed, unable to keep his smile hidden at being called the best gift Xavier could ever imagine, and he made a mental note to remember that so he could write it down in his diary later. Angel turned his back to him at the last thing he said, reluctantly releasing his hands as he did so, and made his way over to the bed so he could hop up onto it. "D-Do you want me to.. to take off anything, or...?"

Xavier didn’t like to make much of a big deal out of his birthdays anymore. He thought of it simply as part of growing up. His dad had pushed him in the opposite direction, but by the time his twentieth birthday rolled around, everyone seemed to give in for the most part. They still gave him a couple of presents and a card and what not. No singing, though. Angel made him cupcakes last year, and that was as far as baked goods went. The cupcakes were perfection, as well, if he’d said so himself. Anyway, that was why Xavier wasn’t fazed by his parents not being able to be there for the actual day of his birthday. In fact, if anything, he was excited to be spending alone time with Angel. No birthday present could top off the lovely simplicity in his presence. He guessed that was just how it was when love was of the essence. Xavier’s eyes narrowed a bit in confusion at the younger boy’s question, taking a few seconds to attempt to figure out what it could possibly be and quickly giving up. “Alright, babe. Sure,” he answered sweetly, leaning in to peck at his nose. Xavier drew his arm away from where it’d been wrapped around Angel’s waist and stood up from the couch, waiting for him to do the same so that they could walk back to his room.

Angel's eyes closed and his nose scrunched up as it was kissed, a little giggle coming from him at the sweet gesture. It made him feel better about what he'd planned to do, because he was reminded for the millionth time that day that he loved Xavier, really, truly loved him, although the nerves hadn't dissipated any. He waited patiently until he stood up and then did the same, reaching out a hand to hold one of Xavier's once he did, because his touch had always been something that could calm him. Angel used the time in between then and when they finally got to his room to decide how to even tell him what he was gifting him, and whenever they were finally there, he could only stare at his chest as he spoke, his nerves getting the best of him. "I... I want to g-give you me," he glanced up to meet his eyes, finally, after saying it, gnawing at his lower lip as he waited for him to understand.

Angel was rightfully nervous, he supposed, looking up at Xavier from where they were happily cuddled up on the couch together during a time when they actually could do so since their parents were away. It was the other boy's birthday, and he'd decided that he would give him something that was... special, to say the least. It wasn't as if he could give him much else, really, since all he had was himself and that was all he had to offer. Xavier would be pleased, he was sure, because he'd never seemed to be disappointed in the things that Angel would give to him before. Hopefully it would be the same this time around. He got lost in his own thoughts but never tore his eyes away, only speaking up when X looked his way, cheeks flushing with the question. "Um.. c-can we go to your room? I-I wanna give you something."

xavier: Xavier didn't press any further when he'd stammered again, just gave him a gentle look as if encouraging him to tell him the truth. And, well. He wasn't sure what he'd been expecting exactly, but when it came out, his heart instantly sunk down to the bottom of his stomach. His good mood wasn't as quick to deteriorate, though he could feel it happening slowly, his brows falling into a confused furrow as he looked over at Angel worriedly. There were so many awful ideas of what could've happened that day swimming around in his head and they made him sick. He decided to stay quiet for the remaining couple of minutes home, though when they'd pulled up and walked into the house, he led Angel straight to his bedroom to sit down with him. "Tell me what happened, please. All of it and the names of the people involved."

angel: Angel couldn't shake his nerves at the silence that followed his admission, his fingers fiddling together in his lap and his toes tapping against the floor of the car. He couldn't bring himself to look up, to look over at Xavier and see his disinterest or his disappointment or whatever he happened to be feeling towards him at what he now knew (even though he was sure that he wouldn't be disinterested in the topic or disappointed in him for not being able to stick up for himself, but he couldn't help but think those sorts of things). The nervousness was still there as he was led to Xavier's room and he immediately tried to curl into his side when they sat down, pressing his face against his shoulder and making a despondent noise in his throat at the inquiries. "I-I don't know, they.. they just took them a-and broke them. It- I, um, I-I didn't know what to do."

xavier: Xavier supposed that it might not have been that big of a deal-- anything could've happened to Angel's glasses for them to break-- so he wasn't /too/ worried about it instantly, just patiently awaited an explanation. When the other boy's mouth opened, though, he could tell how he was even more hesitant to speak than usual. It was that that had him suspicious within seconds, turning his head to examine Angel's eyes; his behavior. "Yeah, I kind of concluded that myself, Angel. How did they end up broken?" he pressed on, his tone of voice a bit firm. It was obvious that he wanted an answer, and a truthful one. "I know you've got another pair at home, I'm just making sure you're okay. That's my job. You should never feel like you have to hide anything from me."

angel: Angel's eyes were downcast, his teeth gnawing at his lower lip as he listened to Xavier continue on about wanting to know what happened to his glasses. It was obvious that he wanted an answer by his tone, and he knew that now that he was on the subject he wouldn't stop until he found out what was going on. "I... um." His hesitance was to be expected, because he'd never told anyone about it, about the people at his school who didn't particularly like him. Angel had the strongest urge to climb into Xavier's lap and tuck his head underneath his chin, just to feel like nothing else could hurt him, but he was driving and he knew that he had to tell him the truth. "I-It was just.. people. At school. T-they aren't very nice."

Angel wasn't used to much contact with people, and he'd never been so glad to be leaving the school building so that he could be at home, where he wouldn't have to bump into other students constantly because of his inability to see. It wasn't as if he were blind, but it was a habit of his to keep his head down as he walked in the halls in which he often judged the distance of people by their feet, and... well, without his glasses, he couldn't do that as well as he usually could. Thankfully, he was already on his way to be picked up by Xavier so he didn't have to worry about it much. All Angel could do was blush and apologize with each person he happened to knock shoulders with, clutching his books to his chest as he made it through the crowd towards where X always parked whenever he would pick him up. Once he was finally situated in the passenger side of the car, he set his books down in his lap and embarrassingly went to push his glasses up his nose only to press his fingers to his temple, passing it off as toying with the hair of his fringe that lie there. His cheeks darkened even further at the action, hoping that Xavier hadn't seen and somehow wouldn't notice his lack of glasses, though he had no idea if he had or not since he hadn't spared him a glance since he entered the car. "Hi, X," he greeted as he secured his seat belt.

Xavier couldn’t have held back the heavy sigh of relief that left him when Angel took his hand and held it without hesitance— he’d been so terrified that he’d ruined everything completely, had scared him with his actions to the point where he’d scarred him permanently, and he didn’t have to be that anymore. After that, something about the gaze he shared with him and the way he continued touching his hand so easily and gently, without a shred of fear, it had him sure that they’d be okay, his body ridding of tension noticeably. “No, baby, no, of course not,” he assured, his tone firm enough that his expression matched. “I can’t promise that I won’t forget to take my medication again, but if that does happen I’ll force myself to stay away from you, okay? It’s. My disorder is something I never really enjoy talking about, and its usually contained completely by the medicine I take, and I forgot to, and… Just, don’t let it be something that haunts you. Please. I promise that I’m someone you can trust always, and I know it won’t be easy to accept or believe that right after what happened, but… over time I’ll prove it to you, just like I always do.” His words ended with that same smile Angel had on his face, pleased with the way his hand felt against the other boy’s smooth skin.

It never got to the point where Angel considered locking his door so it wouldn't happen again or anything close to that, because even after what happened he loved and trusted Xavier, but he knew that there would be significant, albeit small, differences in the way he acted around him. He didn't know when he would be able to say that he loved him again, because when he opened his mouth to say it then after hearing his apologies and reassurances, nothing would come out— he still wasn't sure if he wanted to say it just yet, if he felt like that was the right thing to do. "'Kay..." he murmured instead, nodding once more in acceptance of his answer to the question he asked. He believed it, and he knew, had always known, that Xavier would prove it to him like he always did as he said. It wasn't his fault, anyway, it happened because of his disorder and he knew that he had no control over something like that. How could he blame him for something that he couldn't help? Angel let go of his hand and placed it on the bed beside him, crawling forward so that he could curl up in his lap, his nose brushing up against the other boy's collarbone as he nuzzled up close to him. Even though a few walls had been knocked down, Xavier still felt like home to him.

Micah could tell that his compliment had really meant something to Angel, and it was that that had him forcing himself not to grin, managing to keep his reaction down to another closed-mouthed giggle. He got a ridiculously happy feeling just knowing he’d made him feel good in any way, and was relieved when he’d said that he liked him calling him cute. “I.. I don’t know, I’m j-just. Okay. Good,” he stammered quietly, but it wasn’t as if he needed to speak louder since they were already so close to each other. “I kind of.. I want.. Can I..?” Micah tried to say, his voice hardly above a whisper, except he couldn’t bring himself to finish his sentence because the words just wouldn’t come out. He gave up fairly quickly and decided to reach for Angel’s hand that was on his mouth instead, gently taking it into his own and moving it away so that he could lean in and press his lips against the other boy’s softly, their fingers entertwined as he did so.

Although he had no idea what he was asking for, Angel knew that Micah would never do anything that he wouldn't be okay with, so he nodded at the unfinished question, a little smile still on his lips from before. He easily let his hand be taken away even though he didn't understand why, his brows furrowing at the action yet his mouth didn't open to protest. Angel was rightfully shocked whenever there was suddenly a kiss pressed to his lips, eyes wide for a few moments before he closed them and accepted what Micah was giving him. His heart stuttered in his chest and he made a little noise into the kiss once he realized that their fingers were entwined and that they were holding hands, his own squeezing the other boy's when he was able to focus on anything other than their connected lips.

Micah took a deep breath when he first touched at his lip, and, somehow, kind of expected the giggle that came from Angel not long after, making the same noise himself except behind closed lips. He could understand why it was amusing, really— he definitely felt the same, too, because touching lips wasn’t exactly the most common thing that everyone did, but. The thought of kissing Angel was still lingering on his mind, mostly, even if he maybe shouldn’t have been thinking about it… it wouldn’t leave his head. “Well.. of course I do. You’re really cute. A lot of things about you are really cute,” he admitted casually, shrugging a little and maybe glancing down at Angel’s lips again for another moment. “I hope, uh.. you don’t mind or anything.”

Angel decided that he quite liked the way his lips felt as he spoke (he was pretty sure that was a little weird), his thumb pausing his journey when he did so that he wouldn't get in the way of his speaking. The sweet words had him squirming and crinkling his nose as if he wanted to disagree, but he thought it was incredibly sweet of Micah to compliment him as he did. He couldn't wait to write in his diary about this. Lately, he found himself writing about Micah almost as much as he did about Xavier, which was a pretty big deal. "Mind what?" he giggled once again, wondering just what he would possibly have done that he would've minded. "I l-like you calling me cute," Angel admitted as his teeth but at his lower lip for a few moments as he continued moving his fingertips along his soft lips, sighing softly at how he wanted to kiss his friend.

The relief inside of him increased when Angel answered his question the way he did, a smile lingering on his own lips to show that. For some reason, though, his hands actually felt restless, and he kind of really wanted to reach out and touch the other boy— to pull him closer by his sweater and.. what was he thinking? Boys with boyfriends weren’t supposed to kiss other boys. He just. Maybe one measly kiss wouldn’t be so bad.. “They do?” Micah asked, a mixture between amusement, pride and happiness on his face. “Thank you. I have moisturizers that I use to try and make sure they stay soft. If you want, you can feel them? With your hand? Or— is that weird?” Micah’s words ended with another small laugh and then a shrug; it couldn’t be that weird. “Your lips look.. nice, too. Pretty, like you.”

"Mmmhm," he hummed in affirment, happily listening to what he said in explanation in how he kept his lips so soft. Angel's eyes widened at the question even though his hand automatically rose to do as he said, before it stilled in the air in his hesitation since he didn't want to seem too eager. He was cautious, because Micah had a boyfriend and he didn't want to go further than he should, even if he gave him permission to touch. "N-no, not weird.." he answered quietly, shaking his head as he continued reaching out so that his thumb could brush lightly against his lower lip. A bit of a giggle in disbelief left him since he found it unbelievably funny that they were just casually laying there while he touched his lips. "...You t-think I'm pretty?" he asked, blushing deeply at the compliment.

Xavier knew that, if his earlier assumptions were correct, Angel would probably be coming pretty fast from what Xavier was doing to him. The knowledge left him with mixed feelings, because god there was nothing more that he wanted than to make him come, to feel it happening and be the reason for it all. It was something he’d imagined doing for far longer than he’d admit, and that was clear, but there was also the fact that he wanted the moments to last as long as possible, just in case this might, for some reason, be the last time he ever got to touch Angel like this. Anything was possible, and they could get caught within moments, so could he really be blamed for wanting to savor each instant of the precious sounds coming from the younger boy? Eventually, sitting there stroking him slowly through his underwear, the want to make him come prevailed, and he had a brief moment of amusement when he realized that it truly felt like he was getting the privilege to touch an angel touching Angel; he certainly sounded like one, at least. Gradually speeding up the movements of his hand, he was thankful for the intense, loud scene on the screen that made it easy for him to lean down and speak to Angel again, asking, “you gonna come for me, baby? C’mon, let me feel you.”
