Appa being kidnapped, sold to the fucking circus and having god knows what done to him.
The animal cruelty shown in the show is so well done, especially when the boy who feeds Appa and roots for him to escape the circus. The way he looked and the way he spoke was so reminiscent of Aang, I can't imagine Appa must have gone through.
Just sobbing and crying through what all Appa has gone through - becoming so filled with fear and trauma instead of immediate love and trust. It hit all the more harder when the scenes from the air temples were shown.
This show will never cease to amaze me - i wish to just see hours of Appa and Momo.
