Soap - Master of analogies and words in general

A year ago @lanialania00, an artist I absolutely adore, posted this comic I devoured and I got the permission to create my own version based on it.

The first attempt was halfway done about a month later and then my computer crashed and everything was gone.

At the end of the last year I was three pages in the second take and I HATED it. I practiced a lot to get better. Then I started from scratch.

It is finally done! I'm so proud, excited, exhausted and happy to share it with you now!

Professor Soap/Older Student Ghost. Finally getting his degree after he retires from the military due to an injury. His therapist (the one Price and Gaz strong-armed him into going to) said to pick some new goal, and he decided he might as well use that free Uni perk he was guaranteed when he signed up. He didn't expect to fall in love with his Chemistry professor. Changes his whole fucking degree just to keep taking classes with him. John "My students call me Professor Soap" MacTavish is the sole reason he even shows up. His eighteen year olds classmates are all either terrified of him or painfully annoying. The coursework goes comepletely over his head. He wants to give up--but the thought of not getting to see that easy, charming smile directed his way again means he sticks with it--more, he tries. He treats his homework like a mission, his exams like hostage retrieval. If the hostage was a good grade and Soap was the enemy... yeah, the metaphor falls apart quickly, but that's why he never would have succeeded in the English degree he originally was going for. He's much better suited to... whatever the hell Soap's always talking about in lecture. He's still working on understanding the difference between cations and anions, but that's why just means he has an excuse to visit Soap during office hours, so he's not worried.
