The truth is, sometimes you will hurt people. Sometimes, you will hurt people, and then life will move on, and you won’t have any way to apologize, or make up for it. But, your past mistakes do not define who you are now. You are allowed to move on without guilt haunting you over things you might have done years ago. You are allowed to come to terms with the things you did that were wrong, to change, and to grow from those experiences; you will never be stuck in one spot if you will yourself to own up to it, pull yourself up, and start again.
Moving on is not about forgetting the person instantly. It doesn't have to be constantly not thinking about him anymore. Moving on is inconsistent. Sometimes you still want him back. Sometimes you want to forget everything. Sometimes you want to start something new. But most of the time, the pain it causes you will constantly drain your energy. Moving on is a very long process, and it will feel like—you're going crazy. It's spiral. And moving on is like a detachment. You have to detach from that adhesion, and that adhesion is what you feel towards the person—it's love.

Give yourself time. If it takes longer for you to do everyday things, it’s okay. if you need longer to make a decision, it’s okay as well. if it takes longer for you to get out of bed or to gather motivation to do things, it is okay. please do not rush yourself, please do not feel bad because others need less time than you do, it is okay. you decide how much time you need and you set the pace. and guess what? that is totally okay. Give yourself time. ♡
I don't want to wait to be happy, I don't want my happiness to be relative to an achievement or something. I want to be happy invariably and understand that there are going to be many lows in life and I"ll allow myself to grieve for them but once I do, I want to get back to being happy again
