zeke felt bad for the humans, even if he was actively trying to empathize. all he could do was shake his head, arms crossing loosely over his chest.

sora sighed. “it’s not like they’re in any actual danger, they just think they are for a few moments. harmless. why don’t you try ?”

“i don’t know enough people.” he nodded, taking the hand to shake. “joey.”

“we can fix that.”

The nephilim just softly shook his head at the others behavior.

“don’t give me that look, it’s fun.” sora muttered. she enjoyed playing pranks on humans, sat on a high wall and getting them as they passed by.

She’d just finished kicking a guy’s nose in – something not very like the demon, but she was still plenty capable. In this case, it was necessary. “In my defense, I wanted nothing to do with this,” she thought to clarify.

“you should’ve let me do it.” sora whined, small pout forming. “you got him good, it looked like fun.”

“i’m not bothered if you aren’t.”

“as long as you don’t plan on throwing a party.” she extended her hand. “sora.”

he threw her a glance. “ fair point. did you need the space ? ”

she shrugged. “we can share. it’s a big parking lot.”

“i was under the impression this parking lot was abandoned.”
