Not knowing who David Bowie is should be a crime
i adore the durmstrang remus x beauxbatons sirius hc !! how do you think their first kiss went ?? 🪽
thank you!! <3 i also really love this dynamic, so i just wrote a little extra part :)
here is part 1
after their first kiss in the snow, remus is the one who suddenly seems to remember how terrifyingly much this means.
for a few seconds, he just stares at sirius, still half-lost in the warmth of his smile and the feeling of his lips against his own. then the thought hits him all at once: the tournament will end. beauxbatons will leave. sirius will go home. this beautiful, impossible thing they have found in each other has an expiration date.
sirius reaches up, brushes the cold from remus’ cheek with his thumb and simply pulls him back down, as though there is nothing in the world worth worrying about right now. the kiss starts soft again, almost reassuring, and when they finally separate, sirius has that little smile on his face that makes it very difficult for remus to remember whatever he was afraid of in the first place.
then, somehow, they go straight back to their snowball fight. as though they had not just kissed for the first time. as though remus’ entire understanding of the universe had not shifted slightly on its axis.
sirius is laughing so hard that he can barely throw properly anymore, and remus is eventually forced to admit defeat when he is completely out of breath and half-covered in snow. they collapse beside each other, exhausted and grinning, staring up at the grey winter sky.
and remus thinks that perhaps he should be afraid. he should be counting the days until the tournament ends. he should be preparing himself for the inevitable goodbye.
instead, he looks at sirius, at this impossibly beautiful, ridiculously dramatic boy who somehow managed to bring so much warmth and excitement into his life in such a short amount of time, and decides that he refuses to let the thought of losing him ruin the time they still have.
so he reaches for sirius’ hand again. he pulls him closer and kisses him with all the certainty he could not find a few minutes ago.
when the kiss finally slows, remus keeps their foreheads together, their noses brushing softly as they catch their breath. he looks directly into sirius’ eyes, still holding his hand between them.
and there is something almost amazed in his expression, as though he still cannot quite believe that sirius is real. he tells him, quietly, that he makes everything feel brighter. that being around him feels like someone has taken all the tiredness out of him and replaced it with something warm and alive.
and sirius is completely ruined by those words. so he kisses him again, and this time remus is laughing against his lips.
after that, they seem to find increasingly ridiculous ways to spend their time together. one afternoon, remus decides he wants to show sirius something he has never experienced before and takes him far beyond the parts of durmstrang the visiting students usually see. sirius is initially convinced that whatever remus has planned will involve freezing to death, getting lost or being eaten by something living in the forest.
he is not entirely wrong.
the two of them end up following a narrow path through the snow until they reach an old, abandoned lookout point hidden between the trees. from there, the entire valley is visible beneath them, covered in snow and fading sunlight.
sirius is absolutely horrified by the climb. he complains dramatically the entire way. at one point he decides that his boots are too expensive, his coat is too beautiful and his hands are too cold for this sort of activity.
remus, who has apparently developed a remarkable immunity to sirius’ dramatics, simply tells him to stop complaining and keep walking. when sirius refuses, remus ends up picking him up and carrying him for part of the way.
they sit there together until the sky turns pink and gold, sharing whatever food remus managed to sneak out of the kitchens. and when they finally return to the castle, sirius takes remus’ hand without even thinking about it.
he leads him through the corridors, dragging him along with that effortless confidence he seems to possess whenever he has decided something is happening. eventually, they reach the corridor where the beauxbatons students are staying during their visit.
remus assumes that this is where they say goodnight. he turns towards sirius and leans in for one last kiss, intending it to be soft and brief. it is neither. sirius catches him before he can pull away, and suddenly the kiss becomes something neither of them seems particularly interested in ending.
remus eventually manages to pull back just enough to breathe, their foreheads still touching. he is smiling despite himself, quietly reminding sirius that as much as he would like to stay there forever, they are standing in a corridor full of sleeping students and are probably already pushing their luck.
sirius only looks at him with the cheekiest, prettiest grin remus has ever seen, the exact kind of smile he knows he is going to fall in love with over and over again.
one of sirius’ cold hands slips beneath remus’ shirt, resting against the warmth of his stomach, while the other hooks casually into one of the belt loops of his trousers.
"good thing i have a private room.”
remus barely has time to process it before his hands are back on sirius’ cheeks, pulling him into perhaps the fiercest kiss they have shared yet as they stumble into the room together, the door falling shut behind them less than five seconds later before a small flick of magic makes the lock click securely into place
thank you for your great question, answering it was so much fun <3
I've been thinking for a while of making a tcoptp comic. But the thing is... Idk shit about anatomy??? And I'm such a perfectionist, which means I won't be happy with anything I do.
But here's my Remus?
Which came out nicely, God knows how...
But idk, should I reconsider?
I’m rereading TCOPTP again and I genuinely wonder how Remus didn’t realise Sirius was into him. The bloke was literally giving him every bloody sign possible!!!!
sometimes im in a store in the middle of nowhere and like three songs referenced in tcoptp come on in a row and i have to guess if the master behind the playlist is a 70 year old man or a wolfstar fan
tcoptp remus was so fucking pathetic and i fear ivve never related to a character more
Just finished tcoptp, time to reread ig
the concept of miles hearing sirius’s voice on the radio singing a love song to someone else (he was waiting for sirius, not knowing he had already moved on)
crazy ass canon scene if you ask me
so remember when mike wheeler was openly flirting with will byers in that field like what was that about that's pretty gay
Mary is the type to actually point and laugh. Sirius trips or James makes a bad joke and you look over and mary is going:
yes ik the gif is giant idgaf
We’re gonna be late!
Sirius asks Remus if he loves him and when Remus says yes, he fake gags and says "Idk bro that's kinda gay"
Yes they're dating btw
remember when byler was like. a whole thing.
Jannik fell first and really hard, as far as we know. But he used to hide it better, unlike Carlos, who can never hide it (but I'm glad to see how Jannik is letting himself go now).
“Moony,” Sirius whispers to Remus in the middle of the night.
“Hm?” Remus hums, half-asleep.
“What d’you think about my hand?”
Sirius turns and shows Remus his left hand, illuminated by the soft glow of their nightlight.
“Your hand?” Remus asks, confused.
“Yeah,” Sirius wiggles his fingers. “Doesn’t it look a bit naked to you?”
“Naked?”
“Yeah,” he clicks his tongue, showing Remus his knuckles. “It feels too bare.”
“Huh?”
“I dunno,” Sirius throws him a cheeky smile. “Wouldn’t it look prettier… with a ring on this finger, maybe?” he whispers, wiggling the finger next to his pinky.
“Soon, baby,” Remus smiles, drawing him closer to him to kiss his hair. “Promise.”
