marco doesn’t blame him. well, not really. he knows that jean is an… abrasive sort of person, and his harsh words and sharp edges aren’t for everybody. he’s got a mouth like a motor and a mind like a firecracker, and when you put two and two together, you get one sure-fire mess. the freckled boy nods, expression reading as pleased.

eren’s arms fold over each other and he leans onto the railing of the cabin. tired eyes droop a bit, and he lowers his head. why did he feel this way? it was as if he was once again being scolded by his father. like he was being punished for getting into fights and coming home with bruised knuckles, while mikasa stared at him in shame as well. was that all he’d end up being? disappointed, scolded, scorned?

“i know, marco. and----i respect him----but...”

they say putting ‘but’ in any sentence negates everything you said beforehand. in this case, it’s only partially true. eren respects his skills as a leader and his ability to get a job done... nothing more.

HELLO FRIENDS & ACQUAINTANCES, i’m matt! got nothing to do this weekend? don’t know what the fuck my muse is about? maybe you do, and feel like brushing up on him and his universe as it is? don’t really want to but you suddenly feel compelled to do so by my fantastic presentation? GREAT! this weekend i’ll be streaming CODE GEASS SEASON 1 on my rabb.it channel. the first stream session will be saturday, april 30th, at 9:00 pm CST. if all goes well, there’ll be a secondary stream session sunday afternoon. my goal is to get through the first season of code geass and to get as many people into the stream as possible so that more people know more about the series. bear in mind that the series contains a lot of blood and otherwise potentially ‘triggering’ content, so if you don’t have the stomach for animated blood and mass slaughtering, i wouldn’t suggest joining.

code geass has a lot to offer to a lot of people, so i hope you’ll join us! if you’re interested, please LIKE this post and perhaps REBLOG it so that you can get more people interested. it’s free to join, no sign-up required! anyone is welcome! i’ll post the link on my tumblr page when the stream starts.
