M: Abir, tumhe mujhe pe bharosa hai? A: Sabse zyada.
He knows he does. More than anyone else.
The Haldi Headcanon
Mishti is super excited at the prospect of getting married, so is Abir, except Abir really is shy. As per their usual, they genderbend all the typical clichés. She constantly tries romancing right smack in front of people and he remains uneasy.
He obviously enjoys all the attention he gets from her and loves whenever she gets him involved in some stupid challenge.
They spend the entire wedding challenging each other about the most random of things.
The very cliché fan-prompt, sneaking into the other's haldi function but OF COURSE it's Mishti who does that.
Since the guy gets haldi-ed first, she very sneakily reaches the Rajvansh manor, catches him off-guard, very smexily gets him to apply a little haldi and runs right back. Gotta live upto her sneaky title of chorni.
Abir moves out of the hiding place with a very goofy smile, thrilled at the prospect of all this secret romance only to find Jugnu standing a little away, his back facing Abir, on the lookout.
"I spotted you guys because Parul Maasi made me come look for you but I didn't want to disturb you guys and also make sure no one else sees whatever it is that you were upto."
Apparently Mishti and Abir are going to stay away from the Rajvanshs post-marriage...
Even though it's a long shot and I do want a lot of the family members to be present at their wedding, it would be such a breakthrough. It would mean Meenakshi's worst fear coming true, Abir leaving them but the ultimate reason for it will not be Mishti but Kunal and Meenakshi themselves and I want that. I WANT THAT. DO IT.
Like I said, a longgg shot but I am ready for it. Bring in their nuclear family. Away from the toxicity.
But also, that's going to be so difficult to watch. Ugh, Abir loves his family too much. Nanu must be so upset. But they need the distance. They need to let go of their "I wanna control you at all times"
